China, the person at the front desk during check in, is an asset to Marriott. She was very helpful on the phone earlier and pleasant and helpful during check-in

I used the Bistro for dinner and wanted to have a late breakfast the next day but discovered they were closed at 10:00. This makes sense for a hotel that’s primarily used by business people but it kind of surprised me, given the resort vibe the whole place gives, I assumed it would be open longer.

Although the breakfast wasn't included, the hotel lobby itself was very comfortable for sitting in and seemed to turn into a bar at night --we didn't try any of the gym/spa/pool amenities. I loved that our room opened up onto a small courtyard in a garden. that was lovely. The room was perfectly comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. It's quiet and clean. We had good sleep!!

In the typical marriott fashion, everything seemed to cost extra: the wifi was basic and worked but they wanted to uncharge for more signal. The breakfast was not included (there was a starbucks counter in the hotel with actually pretty great breakfast flatbreads but everything was extra)--the location is near a bunch of strip mall places so you can buy stuff offsite if this matters to you. There's no way to make anything in the room - the coffeemaker is a one-at-a time thing and we didn't end up using it (tea drinkers). - The first Uber driver we took to get to the city charged us more than DOUBLE the going rate but we didn't even know until we were going home (all the other uber drivers all charged about $30) so that sucked. It's about 20 miles from downtown.

The bistro employee didn’t seem to know what was going on when we told him we had complimentary breakfast. Maybe he was new. And we were asked twice by the cleaning staff when we thought we would be out even though check out was at noon. I get wanting a head start, but please don’t ask the guest.

Only had breakfast once at the Castleton location, they have a nice selection but, just a little pricey.

Everything was great but there was a stain on the pullout couch sheets that had to be changed. That was it.

I had to light the fire pit. No one there could get it working, and the said they did not have a maintenance person on site.

I loved the decor! Bed very comfy.

It is very modern and new, Starbucks was a bonus, and the pool was fun for the kids.

When we came home, we found head lice on my kids. We strongly believe it was from the pullout couch.
