A very nice historic property in the heart of Fountain Square! We had the King Studio which was gigantic for a hotel room, the bathroom alone was bigger than most properties I've stayed in while visiting NYC. We enjoyed all of the historical details from the old elevators to the two duckpin bowling alleys in the building (sadly both were closed for the evening we were there). There are plenty of fun options in the building and if we had had more time in Indy, we would have enjoyed the rooftop and street side bar - we'll save all of the above for next time.

Some street noise coming from the bar a few floors down but that didn't really affect our positive experience.

Great location! So many fun and unique things to do and see within walking distance. We are already talking about going back! We didn't realize all the cool things we could do when we got there. Vintage duck bowling in the basement, restaurants, bars...were all right there in the hotel. It felt very safe, was clean, had the best hotel bathroom I have ever seen.

All the instructions and keys/passcodes were kind of overwhelming at first. Also had to wait in the lobby a bit to get the keys-but that is only because the one person that was in charge of it also had to man the bowling alley. She gave great tips on the area though and was also very knowledgeable about the hotel. Very fun to talk to.

Great communication. Due to weather, we ended up arriving later than planned. Didn’t seem to be a problem. Following the instructions that were given to us. We found a very clean and comfortable space with a large bathroom cute kitchenette. The bowling alley upstairs didn’t bother us. They stopped playing at 10:30 during the weekdays and midnight on the weekends. It was such a great area to stay in. The building itself had so much to offer. Bar downstairs rooftop bar upstairs and the bowling alley. We did it all!

I loved the artsy vibe of Fountain Square, and the fact the hotel is in a listed historic property. There were ample restaurants. It's right on the Cultural Trail, and it was an easy walk to and from the train station. Sadly, Amtrak doesn't directly serve Indianapolis anymore, but you can still book transport through Amtrak, which has its perks.

The hotel is above a bar, so there was a level of noise from other guests and the music downstairs, but I did not consider that a ding against the hotel. I thought it was funny that the bathroom was where the windows were. It was a spacious bathroom, so I spent a lot of time in there, grateful for the chair so I could look out the window.

The perfect location in Fountain Square within walking distance to literally everything this up and coming art and theater community has to offer! Located on the 3rd floor, the elevator has keyed access to keep non guests out of the hotel. Keypad entry into the ground floor after hours for additional safety. Free laundry facilities and unwieldy appointed rooms that feel more like you are staying in someone’s home than a hotel. Very comfortable accommodations with every amenity that you may need including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toiletries. Beautiful historical building with 2 duckpin bowling alleys! Italian restaurant on the first floor.

Make sure you have the after hours contact number as there is no front desk. The office is only open bankers hours, so if you need anything you will need to contact the after hours number. That said, all of our needs were quickly and graciously met!

We had a large, comfortable room to relax in and it was a quick walk from the event we were in town for. The nostalgia of the building from the entrance to details in the room were very cool. We are very happy with our choice and would stay here again!

We did have to call ahead to give our arrival time so someone could meet as at the entrance and show us around. The woman that greeted us was very friendly and she walked us through everything we needed to know for access to the building and contact if needed during our stay. Calling ahead of arrival really helped but it added some rigidity to leisure time.

Cute and unique hotel in a great location! The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff gave us an informative overview of what to expect at the hotel, and we had no issues checking in.

We stayed on the third floor, and the duckpin bowling on the fourth floor was extremely loud. It would have been impossible to enjoy the room had we stayed in instead of being out late at a concert. There was also a very bright hall light shining into our room all night — please add curtains to the above-the-door windows!

Large suites ..retro older. Good a/c, caveat, bowling alley one floor above would have been nice to know this in booking and not after as well as no front desk..but did not need but also was not informed of this until final payment of booking which both are a little misleading ..this should be clearly outlined in booking

The historic building was unique and beautiful. Location was central to restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Make sure to visit the community bookstore, Indy Reads.

Free parking was advertised, but it was actually free on street parking. It was challenging to find parking that was nearby.

Everything was very nice especially the personal service from the manager. Only reason the value was checked down it was Indianapolis 500 weekend so things were just higher. Highly recommend this hotel
