Clean room. Very nice and helpful staff. We were able to check in early. They allow pets. Good breakfast. Blackout shades. Refrigerator. Parking attached to the hotel by a second floor walkway. We self parked and could go in and out. Big steel door opened by your key to get your car out of the garage. This kept the homeless out which unfortunately was our only concern here.

Downtown location was super convenient but when I had to briefly walk our dog around 2:00 a.m. there was quite a bit of interesting/highly inappropriate activity immediately outside and no hotel security guard to discourage it or encourage these folks to move elsewhere.

There was this one front desk male white around 200 pounds 5"10ish he wore a suit jacket with a red ruby shirt he didn't seem as inviting/friendly as the other staff members. I asked for my complimentary bottle of water he gave me the water but he did let me know that even though I was a Hyatt member I was not eligible for the complimentary water because I booked thru a third party. All other front desk staff were GREAT, especially the young man with long hair. He was so very patient and kind

Everything, the staff especially the breakfast team! Hard workers and very kind. Food is fabulous kudos to the Chef!

When the bar closes down for a special events. There was a wedding party when I was there and I wanted to be here and I had to watch everybody else drink but I couldn't participate because I wasn't a part of the wedding group. I would suggest there be a mini bar for your current guest. And I would also lower the parking garage price for your guest because $52 a day is a lot of money to park yourself.

Breakfast and staff services were great. Front desk staff were outstanding during our stay who met our needs and provided detail information about city attractions and available transportation. They even asked us the next morning how we enjoyed the Fever game! While checking us out, they invited us back to enjoy another game.

Our room was not exceptionally clean. A clipped finger/toenail was in the door entry near the bathroom door and our duvet cover had three small blood stains on it. However, as soon as we advised staff at the front desk, they profusely apologized, gave us a credit at the restaurant and sent housekeeping to our room promptly for correction.

Location location location. This place nailed it on location. Perfect distance to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and other nearby spots. This Hyatt Place was beautiful, the nicest one I’ve stayed at. Very upscale. Very clean, modern feel. Our room was very nice. Breakfast decent with dining being inside or outside on a beautiful terrace. Check in and Check out processes were smooth. Great job with this one Hyatt!!

Check in desk was somewhat hidden within the main restaurant/dining area. No obvious sign for check-in staff at check-in. We’re basic no-frills. We had rented two rooms which were very nice however, one room. The bathtub was full of water due to the drain being broken, I notified staff of the issue, so I felt it was handled, but we were already checking out that day. Outside of this issue overall our stay was good. Breakfast could be improved slightly with easier access to and from the food area. On a safety note, the valet parking is dangerous for the driver side of the vehicle. Your door will literally open into a travel lane. Valet attendant upon checkout was very rude.

Desk staff never informed me of outrageous charge for parking in self parking next door for one night- only asked if I wanted valet or self parking- she gave me no indication of a charge- acted like it was free and coded our room key in order to exit the garage- I’m very upset over this- mainly because it’s a ridiculous charge of $52- / night!!!

The hotel is in a very convenient location for anyone attending an event at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a large bathroom. Despite there being a huge concert the night we stayed, there wasn't an excessive wait for elevators or to exit the parking garage.

The only complaint I have is that the room is pretty small, but that is to be expected in downtown Indy. Our room door didn't automatically latch, so that was an inconvenience and safety concern, as you would expect that at a hotel.

It was right next to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse which was super convenient for the concert we were attending. It was clean and nice. There was a worker named Greg who went above and beyond he was super nice and told us if we needed anything to let him know. I believe he was a housekeeper.

The pivot bar service was horrible. I went with my husband to get a few drinks before the concert and the guy that was bartending kept ignoring me but would serve my husband and everyone else. He finally got me a rum and coke that tasted like it had absolutely no rum in it. I tried to order another drink and he took my order 3 times twice by me and once by my husband trying to order for me and never got it but resumed going and asking anyone else if they wanted a drink and serving them as soon as they asked. My husband finally asked for the check and the man said “does she still want that other drink?” It was extremely and blatantly rude. I can’t think of his name but he was serving on May 11th around 7. He definitely needs to work on his people skills and doing his job.

Breakfast, initial cleanliness of room & overall hotel, staff responsiveness, and ease of checking & out.

1) Parking garage: issues with scanning tickets, garage door wouldn't open automatically; valet had to come over to resolve as line was backed up by at least 2 dozen cars. Made 3 calls to "help" & was told by garage personnel this happens all the time. 2) Inside the hotel was quiet, but late at night, it sounded like "drag racing" on Pennsylvania St. 3) Room only serviced 1 of the 4 nights we stayed.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, location is great as it is near to everything. Breakfast was great! Good food.

I already checked in late like about 4-5pm but my room was still not ready. Kind of weird you paid a lot of money for this hotel but they can’t check you in, also the staff said it like it is no big deal and I have no choice but to wait. I had to wait 40 min before I get into our room.
