Location was good, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. If you were planning to attend an event at either of the stadiums, this hotel is very close. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The A/C wasn't working properly in our room. They provided a fan and then gave us a different room that was much cooler. The room was very clean and perfect for our party of 3 adults and 3 children. Breakfast was nice with lots of options.

There was really nothing I would find fault with the hotel interiors. The exterior needs some attention. The entrance and sidewalks are a bit shabby and need a refresh.

The building is really historic looking, renovated to a modern look. The room we had was very comfortable, clean and spacious for the three of us. Great location to restaurants and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Parking available in close by parking garage or you can do Valet( which is more expensive.) The pool was a comfortable temperature for swimming and goofing around in. Not too cold! They served a really nice breakfast , with plenty of choices. It was nice that there was water available in the lobby area for guests. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Housekeeper knocked on our door at 0800 am, we were still in bed. She said she’d be back later, but she never did. It would have been nice to get our towels exchanged for clean ones and garbage emptied.

The location was amazing! The room was huge and gave our 1 year old plenty of space to move around so he didn't feel confined to a small hotel room!

We arrived very late in the evening on a Friday night, and the street was completely blocked off so we couldn't drive up to the hotel to use the valet service. We had to park in a random garage, and when we checked in the lady at the front desk was not helpful in telling us if the garage we parked in was safe to leave our car, if there was a better option, etc. We had been driving for 6 hours after working all day and our 1 year old had been awake crying most of the trip. It was very stressful and it would have been nice if the lady at the front desk would have been more helpful.

We love the staff they were all kind. The valet parking was very nice and the pool the kids absolutely loved. You had an older lady doing breakfast both mornings we were there and she was so kind helping, letting us know where everything was, and how everything worked. She was an excellent employee. Everything on your breakfast bar was very nice and clean and put together. Only thing that we was not impressed with was your hot bar where the potatoes, eggs, and meat was they were both on the cold side, and the eggs were not good along with the pork patty sausage meat, kind of tasted spoiled or not fully done. Your orange juice was absolutely delicious!

Only thing I would say here is the hot stuff in the breakfast bar should be warmer and the eggs and sausage patties was by far the worst thing ever eaten.

Booked two rooms for overnight stay. My room was unfortunately difficult to keep cool. I believe the air conditioner was not working properly. Temp remained at 75 degrees entire stay. Our friends room had no trouble with their air, so I'm sure it was just isolated. I never complained or requested assistance for it, as we only used room to sleep in overnight and for just a few hrs before and after. No deal breaker, would stay here again...but will definitely pay attention to air issues next time.

The room was spacious with high ceilings and felt very fancy. Room was clean and the staff was incredibly nice. The pool is open until 11 pm and the breakfast was delicious. Lots of food options within walking distance. We celebrated my best friend’s birthday by having a slumber party and we had a great time. Would stay here again!

The parking was expensive. We did stay on a Saturday night and it is downtown so it was to be expected.

Everything. Cleanliness. Friendliness. Location. Breakfast. The rooms were quant cozy and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with a ceiling fan, and I’ve stayed in many. This was a pleasant surprise. Valet staff was very pleasant and sociable despite the cold wet temperatures. They helped me forget (a little) about the pricing of the service.

With no other option than Valet parking I feel this could be a bit cheaper. However, staff does make everything go very smoothly and without mishap. Car was back when we needed it and gone when we didn’t. If they didn’t lower the price maybe it could come back washed and vacuumed haha. Could add a hot tub too. And it would be the perfect hotel.

One of my favorite hotels in downtown Indy... Beautiful rooms..professional, informative staff. Excellent breakfast and super convenient location and the price is always more than fair for a downtown hotel...

Love the brick walls and exposed wooden beams from the original construction..this is a gem of a hotel in downtown Indy..I've stayed at them all and then some..this is one of my favorites.

Also when we checked in there was only one valet. Also the breakfast sounded better than it was, for example the hash browns were nuke warm, dry and had no flavor. All things considered not bad but that’s why I give it a 4 star rather than 5 star. If you fix those things you would get a five star.

Room was large and bed was comfy with LOTS of pillows. Breakfast was excellent - plentiful and upscale for a hotel's "included" breakfast. (Loved having real dishes and utensils.) Staff was helpful, friendly and kind. Valet service was well worth the fee!

Fold out sofa was NOT comfortable. There weren't enough towels for our party, but housekeeping was quick to bring us more. Pool area had a small area with mold and/or dirt that was disconcerting.
