The rooms were exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. It wasn't fancy but it met all expectations. The location was convenient to the highway and within walking distance of shops and food/drink. The location seemed safe for parking and walking at night. The front desk was helpful with dinner options and directions.

The restaurant was only open until 8 pm and then didn't open for breakfast until 9 am, which was disappointing. Most of the places in town closed by 9 or 10 pm (many earlier than that!) so don't plan to go out later in the evening or your options become very limited or non-existent!

The location was exceptional. It was close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The property was beautiful, and the pool was refreshing.

The bed was so very hard that we were unable to get more than a few hours of sleep in the time we were there. Additionally, the 2 chairs in the room (1 at a desk and 1 in a corner) were straight backed wooden chairs without even a cushion. I understand the purpose of furnishing the room with Harmonist furniture. However, the room became too uncomfortable to spend time in.. We enjoyed visiting the area, but I should have researched more before planning our trip

Very peaceful and quiet location. Room and bathroom was clean, efficient, and bed comfortable. Price was very reasonable. You can walk everywhere in town and we did not move the car until we checked out.

Rooms are a little dated, but perfectly adequate. We stayed in River Bend building. Elevator walls needed better cleaning and gave a bad initial impression. Hair dryer broke while using it, but that can happen anywhere. The hotel is a little "tired" and needs a refresh, with some furniture a bit worn, but the reasonable price made it okay. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was comfortable, simple, and beautiful, with all the amenities we needed (coffee, microwave, fridge). There were nice local products provide in the room and several other thoughtful touches. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The property is lovely with several trails and a small waterfall, and the pool (though old) is warm. You can easily walk around the town center from the hotel property.

The ice machine was in the basement and we could not find it. Breakfast not provided. The pool deck needed cleaning and the hot tub did not work.

Every year our extended family books anywhere from 3 - 6 rooms over the Thanksgiving Holiday (2-3 nights). We love the location, near the river and the downtown New Harmony, and all the walking, running, etc trails that the location offers, as well as restaurants and shopping. The rooms are charming, comfortable size, and very clean. The furniture is higher quality, like a Bed and Breakfast. Our room had a 4 poster cherry bed, and a large pine armoire. The only additional hotel amenities we seek are morning coffee, and breakfast. NHI offers coffee in-room, and some limited cold breakfast items in their Registration building. The staff are friendly and quick to accommodate anything we need.

I love the location and all the town has to offer ...a great solo retreat to rest and recharge.

The restaurants aren't open on Monday, so I have to plan around that. The ice machine was broken when I arrived, but I reported it when it wasn't fixed for a whole day and it worked by the next day.

They have a really nice restaurant and a big indoor pool. The pool is in a sparate covered building, a very short walk. Both the hotel and restaurant are very popular. It is a popular place for weddings.

Room service is upon request. Sometimes the room keys get easily demagnetized.

The location was great, within walking distance to a lot of points of interest in New Harmony. The room had a rustic feel. It was nice. We also liked the heated pool. Great staff, too.

My only complaint would be the bed. It was a little uncomfortable, but I still managed to sleep around 8 hours each night, just not uninterrupted sleep.

The property was very nice and relaxing and was able to rent a golf cart and explore the whole town

The beds were a little uncomfortable and not having access to a vending machine or anywhere to be able to get something to drink. The town is small so everything closes early

Brunch was delicious and fun. Extra attention for the grandchild's benefit was a bonus. Grounds were beautiful and amenities were nice. We used the "great room" on several occasions for family conversations. Gazebo area with firepit was a family favorite.

Mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable. Some areas needed clean-up or additional maintenance, but they, like so many others, are short-staffed.
