We were in the middle of a 21 hour drive home from Florida and needed a place to just get a full night of sleep without having to spend a ton. I found this hotel on the Booking.com app and was skeptical at first because it’s a hotel chain I’ve never stayed at before and the price was so low. I’m so glad I took a chance! The gentlemen that checked us in was super friendly and welcoming. The room itself was wonderful, you can tell they’ve recently done some updating! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the area was quiet. I highly recommend this property if you’re passing through!

The room was super humid, but I don’t think it was an issue with the hotel itself. We were in an area with a much different climate than what we are used to!

Easy check in, Spacious room, and clean. Stayed here for a quick night before heading to Poverty Point in the morning (exactly 1 hr away)

Walls were pretty thin. Could hear every word our neighbors said which wouldn’t have been a problem if they didn’t stay up watching tv till 2am and then wake up again at 5am. Property could invest in some sound proofing tiles to add to the walls to help reduce noise between rooms.

It was quiet, comfy, and close to the highway for easy access to local food places. Our room came with a fridge and microwave for some good late night snackage. The Inn was easy to access right off the highway and the customer service really gave my group that southern hospitality feel.

There really wasn't anything not to like here. I'd book this place again in a heart beat next time I come down south.

The room was large, well decorated and clean. The price was excellent. The bed you very comfortable. We slept well. Plenty of parking. Water pressure in shower was great. Would recommend it to others and would stay there again

The lady who checked us in was anything but friendly. That and the fact that the bathroom door hinges were falling off were the only two draw backs to our stay.

I thought that we'd be running extra-late, and when I called the hotel and told them, they assured me that, since I called, they would wait for me. I liked the ease of check-in, the clean comfortable room, and the feeling that I was safe in the rough neighborhood. I also liked what they've done with the place. The rooms are renovated and modern.

My son wanted to use the jacuzzi that is built into the tub, but it wasn't working. The tub worked fine otherwise, and I enjoyed the shower. I also noticed that the blow-dryer didn't work. Everything else was fine and dandy!

We were in town for a dog show so love the fact they don’t charge extra for dogs. Super convenient to civic center. Laminate floors. Hot water. Good selection on TV and wifi good. Plenty of parking and the parking lot was well lit. Cleaning staff came every day. CCTV picked up I was having trouble with my door key one night, and the desk attendant met me on the stairs with a new key as I was going down to tell them. All the staff and cleaners seemed nice/friendly.

The patch of grass for pottying was very small and someone said they saw fleas on their dogs from it so we crossed the road to the patch at the Motel 6 most times even though that side of the road felt a bit “rougher”. The train was close by but I noticed the train horn only the first night. Morning coffee was weak. Fridge didn’t have a freezer compartment. Floor was pretty dirty so wiped it up myself. I find this is common with the laminate floors at hotels so carry my own cleaning for it. All in all, pretty minor niggles. I will come here again.

room was very clean. honestly just kind of run down outside of the building. not a fan of Monroe in general

location and outside seemed very sketchy. a lot of people out late being loud

The rooms inside looked way better than the outside of the property.

The property looked a little dirty and uncared for on the outside and the office. I was just passing through with my family so it was just a one night stay. I tried to order pizza but they wouldn’t deliver to that property so I had to pick it up.

The staff was very nice and the room was nice. I also liked the jacuzzi tub that in the bathroom. The hotel was a reasonable price.

I was satisfied with the hotel. I just wished they had an elevator. It was a little hard for my mother and aunt to walk up the stairs with their luggage. Overall it was a nice experience.
