I loved everything about this property!! We had a queen room and despite the reviews I saw that the queen rooms were extremely small, my husband and I had no problem in room 204 with 10 days worth of stuff. Breakfast was grab and go besides the omelette station which my husband took advantage of almost every day! Staff was all so kind and helpful. It’s tastefully decorated and really nice set up. The bar was a really nice addition. Golf simulator was down due to recalibration but my husband still enjoyed hitting a few balls at the screen. We did not use the gym or sauna (trekking 15k+ steps around Acadia/Bar Harbor was good enough for us) but they did have an elliptical, bike, treadmill and free weights if you’re interested in working out. Free iced coffee on tap and buttered popcorn were really nice touches. If we return to bar harbor in the future, we will 10000% stay here.

Parking was a little tight but we left to go to Acadia many times and had no problem finding an off street parking spot.

This location is a gem! In the middle of everything, yet still quiet. We were able to sit on the balcony and see what was happening in the park while not in the midst of crowds. And we could walk almost anywhere in town! Make sure to go to the museum next door and learn about the area and its people.

The hot tubs are not in a location that makes one want to use them, which was disappointing. Also, invest in bed sheets that fit. The moment we laid down the corners came off and we were left sleeping on the mattress pad by the end of the night.

This hotel is easy to find and located in the heart of the village. My room was in the older building, and while on the small side it was perfect for me. Everything was very clean and well maintained. My bed was very comfortable and while I was there it was quiet and restful. I used the outdoor hot tubs and they were also clean and heated to a good temperature. The staff was very helpful, but not very engaging.

While I found parking each of the two evenings I stayed, it was tight and limited. During peak season it is likely a bigger challenge.

I thought the breakfast was just right for what we needed. Having both hot and iced coffee was great. The ice situation was weird with the ice machine being on the other side of the hotel and no I e near the cold coffee station. The location was priceless, and the rooms were very nice.

Only thing I would say was the pillows could use an upgrade, and the water pressure was not great in the shower. Everything else was wonderful.

The beds were super comfortable and the hotel was decorated nicely. It felt really homey and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good: yogurt, granola, bagels, fruit, blueberry muffins. I also really liked the 24hr hospitality section; they had free coffee, tea, cocoa, ice water with alcoholic beverages available to purchase.

The rooms are decorated well but I was surprised to see a noise machine on the side table. We heard things dropped on the floor above us and movement in the hall. It feels more like a house than a hotel. Our heat pump made a clunk sound each time it turned on which woke me up! So the second night we turned it off and used the noise machine and it was perfect. If the hotel had been full of people, we might have had more issues with noise.

Location, location! It’s great right across the street from park and close to water and downtown area! Free Breakfast was delicious!

We booked a queen room with no idea it would be on second floor with no elevator! One building has an elevator and one does not! Luckily the lady at front desk who checked us in carried our bags up the steps! Very generous of her! Very kind person! I would say make sure you’re either on first floor or the building with the elevator if steps can be an issue for you.

We loved being in downtown Bar Harbor. We parked our car and walked everywhere around town. Since the park is easily accessible by the island explorer bus, we really didn’t have to move our car. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. There were good options for breakfast, including fresh omelettes. They also have kegs of iced coffee, which we had never seen before.

Parking is very tight and when we first arrived there weren’t any spots in their lot. But one opened up soon after and we were able to leave our car for the duration of our stay.

The location is absolutely perfect...close to downtown Bar Harbor shops and restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was terrific, especially the omelets! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and we slept well. I really appreciated the use of the bikes to cruise around town while my wife was shopping. I loved this place!

There was some ambient light coming in around the window, and a bit of traffic noise from the street. Our room was at the front of the building.

The location was perfect and the room was recently redone, so it felt modern despite being in a historic building. We also appreciated access to other areas within both buildings and a steady supply of coffee and tea.

We would have liked more variety at breakfast. There were omelets each day, which were very good, but other choices were limited.

I ate breakfast at the cafe next door each day. The staff I met at check-in, Hanley, was very helpful and helped me get my belongings upstairs. She also gave me some suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The room, and the entire property, was very clean and tidy. Parking was sufficient and the location, across from the Village Green, was perfect for quick access to shops, restaurants, and things to do. I would stay there again anytime.
