What a great place in Bar Harbor! Big clean room with fridge and microwave. Staff there are extremely friendly and accommodating. Three different types of coffee in the office area all day long which was awesome! There are snacks, water, fruit and candy available all day in the office as well. Great location easy walk to all the shops and restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle and noise. Ten minute walk to watch the sunrise over the water. We highly recommend the Main Street Hotel.

Comfortable, clean, great location.

I know it’s July 4th, and all places jack up prices, but it’s a little bonkers. I guess I was willing to pay…. So.

This was a great motel in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We could walk to downtown Bar Harbor easily and a short drive to the right took us to the entrance of Acadia closest to the Sand Beach area and the Ocean Path. (While we were there, there was construction, but normally it has easy access to Acadia.)

The coffee was great, but could have been available a little earlier. If that's the worst thing I can say, you know this is a great place.

This motel was clean and an easy walk to everything. You are in the heart of down town Bar Harbor with a three minute walk to the water. The shops and places to eat were right there. Across the lane, next to the hotel was a small breakfast / lunch place, the coffee was good, the blueberry waffles were yummy and the service was friendly. I would return and recommend this hotel to others.

One night we came back after sunset and we were not able to find parking in the lot. However, there was one small spot in front of the main office they allowed us to park in.

We visited Bar Harbor with another couple the last week of September 2023 . Main Street Motel was such a standout for us. The motel is right downtown Bar Harbor, making everything within walking distance. This is a huge plus because it is extremely difficult to find parking downtown. We never used our car except when driving into Acadia to hike. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful - honestly some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered. They were always available to help and chat about Bar Harbor/Acadia. Melayna and all of the staff were top notch! The motel has a 24 hour reception area with free snacks, hot chocolate, tea, fruit, and water bottles. They also have a water bottle refilling station. Absolutely loved that! Coffee was available morning through night, just not in the middle of the night or extremely early morning. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Bar Harbor!

The hotel is right in downtown Bar Harbor with easy walking to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. The recent renovations make the space feel light and clean. The coffee and snacks available in the morning in the lobby make for a good start to a day exploring.

On humid days even when it is cool outside you may need the air conditioner to help keep the carpet from beginning to feel heavy.

Very nice rooms and although I don’t normally stay in a MOTEL it was one of the nicest places we stayed on our week long visit to Maine! First floor and parked right out side of our room so no pulling luggage down long hallway! Also right next door was a great breakfast place and on the other side was a great Lobster Restaurant! Loved it!

The location in downtown Bar Harbor on Main St where all the action is. The bed was king sized and comfortable. I didn't use the shower for 2 days since it was dated not fancy but practable. The office provided great coffee..strong and tasty. The staff was friendly.

The shower area and bathroom although upgrated was not worth a $300 plus daily cost for the room. Also the walls of the room were thin..not valued based on the cost for the room.

The location is great, right down Main Street and in walking distance from the shops and restaurants anf even the ocean! It was very clean, the staff was super friendly, it was equipped well with a mini fridge and a microwave! And they had free tea and coffee in the office.

The only thing that bothered me was the thin walls, I woke up several times because if noises and talking from my neighbors, both upstairs and besides me. This is the only thing stopping me from rating it 10/10. Its been great overall
