I would 100% stay here again. The town nearby was cute and sitting on my balcony I could watch the harbor while having my morning coffee. The inn is not high tech and modern, it has more of a classic feel (you get a physical key not a key card for your room) which was appreciated since I was there for hiking it fit the vibe very well. If you are looking for a nice view and a quiet location with quick access to the whole island than this is the place. The staff were a highlight, I had confidence that my room was clean and refreshed when requested, the pool was pristine, and they were all friendly and helpful.

The only real negative I have is the tub/shower was creaky when standing in it but that could have just been my room. Past that it would be a big plus to add ev charging on premise (especially free) for guests, it would have been a major selling point for me. There is paid charging at the harbor masters building but it is a walk and only two stalls.

It was very clean with spacious rooms. The location was so quiet and relaxing, which was great. Nice pool, although on the chilly side, it felt great after a day of hiking. Able to walk less than half mile into town for a take out pizza. Front desk staff was unbelievably friendly! If you have teens, you might want to stay in Bar Harbor so they are closer to the action to wander around, etc. Otherwise this is a fantastic option if you're looking for more low key, quiet location.

It's located on the southeast Harbour of a Desert island which is a quiet but prime location. It is a balcony which allows an overlook of the harbour with the mountain in the background. Even if it's a rainy day or you don't feel like going out of your hotel, a day could be spent well sitting in your room looking at the view.

I like everything about the hotel. Just that if they could provide a complementary breakfast that would be awesome.

The location is perfect. The staff super friendly and accommodating. Onsight restaurant.

Restaurant closed at 8 pm, with no option for grab and go after ( except vending machine snacks). Pillows were very thick. Having some grab and go sandwiches or food available for late arrivals ( everything closed in NE Shore by 8) is suggested, as well as a variety of pillows types for those of us who are side sleepers and need a thin pillow. Otherwise a lovely place w exceptional staff.

The location was perfect, right up the road from all the shoppes on the strip and quite literally on the harbor for picturesque views. Can't recommend enough!

The water pressure in the shower was a little tricky, if in the shower longer than 5/6 minutes the hot water would cycle through the temperature you had it set on and a warm water.

The room was large & clean, bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The refrigerator was a good size and plenty of table space. We were right above the pool so we could hear and see the kids playing in the pool and in the large grassy area, which we enjoyed while sitting on the balcony. Close to Acadia National Park.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony with a view of the harbor. Beds were comfortable and there was daily housekeeping service. Complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate 24/7 in lobby. Well stocked gift store on site. Will stay there again.

Would suggest to have a mini fridge in lobby with real cream and milk for tea and coffee bar because not everyone likes powdered milk.

Location. VERY close to NE Harbor, and close to Acadia National Park, Seal Beach, and Bar Harbor. Good value, when compared to the outrageous prices charged by other local hotels in the summer. It was nice to have a pool Could walk to the Marina. MOST of these staff was very friendly.

One of the staffers, whom I don't want to name, was not friendly. This was made clear by the fact that ALL the other staffers were so very friendly: you'd always get a warm greeting, no matter how many times you walked through the lobby. But not from her. In fact, one day, I walked by the desk very loudly, to see if she'd look up and give me greeting, as all the other staffers did. She stayed focused on whatever she was going. It would seem to me that if you're going to work at a hotel, you have to actually like greeting your guests. I'm sure hotel management will know the person to whom I refer.

It was our second visit. We liked this hotel a lot. But on the first visit we didn't have neighbors😄

We were on the first floor. There was a family with children above us. We couldn't sleep well because of the loud noise. When the children ran, it felt like there was a herd of elephants above us. Everything rattled and shook: furniture, TV, refrigerator...Conclusion: poor insulation between rooms.

Perfect place to stay if you want the fun of Bar Harbor without the crowd. Just a 20 minute scenic drive into Bar Harbor, though Northeast Harbor has great restaurants and coffee, plus some little shops and a great art gallery! Loved this place. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and good food next door at the Nor’Easter.

Basic cable channels but really there’s so much more to do than watch tv.
