The one receptionist (Dawn) was so unprofessional and rude. She wouldn’t let my guests go past the lobby because their name wasn’t n their records. But, when I booked and at check in, I was never asked the name or number of guests. When she called up to the room to ask if it was ok for them to come up, she had an attitude with me from the start. Mind you, this was 1:00 in the morning and I was in a dead sleep when the phone rang. She couldn’t hear me, so I got up and went down to the lobby and when I got down there, there was nobody there. So I walked outside to find my guests and couldn’t find them. Walked back inside and she was standing in front of the lobby desk and I asked where they went and she said they already went up. Her and I then got into a pretty heated argument and she followed me the whole over to the elevators yelling at me the whole time and wouldn’t let the elevator close. Then she told me that I was kicked out of the hotel and she was calling the cops. Needless to say, I never heard from her and she never told her boss what happened when I told her the following morning.

The location is perfect for my work-related travel and it's long been a reliable and clean budget option. But I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms (on the third floor) have been recently updated/renovated since my last visit. Our king room with sofa bed was really spacious; a new sofa with "pleather" upholstery felt clean and was comfortable to sit on; new high quality vinyl flooring instead of old carpet—feels so much cleaner; fresh paint on almost all surfaces; modern and interesting botanical-themed art; brand new bed, pillows, linens, super comfortable; new dresser, night stands, desk, etc.; new and nice quality towels; and the AC worked beautifully.

The only very minor thing was that when we arrived, the two front desk attendants were both engaged with an apparent computer glitch and never looked up to acknowledge our presence (standing right front of them) for at least five minutes. I felt invisible. A brief "sorry, computer problem, we'll be right with you" would have made us feel more welcome. However, the morning desk attendant the next day was wonderful.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! Hotel per the front desk staff has 85 rooms and is appx 12 years old. It looks at most 2 or 3 years old. Room was beautifully decorated and the bed was a dream. Very cozy and comfortable. Food was fresh hot and plentiful. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. We've stayed at Country Inns before and they are all the same. You know exactly what you're getting when you book there. When we travel and we see a Country Inn by Raddison it's a done deal. Booked immediately without looking any further We booked this location for a one night layover on our way home. It is exceptionally convenient to I-81 and located in a mall parking lot. There is a very large mall and lots of other rental along with a plethora of eating establishment all around it. You can't beat this location for convenience to local amenities. Also there are about at least a half dozen other hotel right there as well. This how popular it is.

Pool area although clean and nice it is very bland, hot and seems to be over chlorined. This flaw seems to be the same at every Country Inn. But it is truly their only flaw.

bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked very good. Was happy to have a freezer included in the room to refreeze my cooler bottles while I slept and recharged. I opted for more sleep in the morning instead of the trying the free breakfast, so I can't comment there, other than the nice lady attendant who graciously got me some salt & pepper packets, only for me to find them stocked in the shakers in the room. Oh dear... maybe I needed MORE sleep. Great stay.

Everything was as expected. No complaints or. suggestion needed on this stay.I'd stay here again. Thank you

Rooms were comfortable, nice location.

Check In process. Reserve a room for another guest thru Booking.com and mark the option to pay on counter because the intention was for him to pay for the room. Then I noticed they charge to my account and not to the guest credit card. That happened with 2 different guests. I call them and they explain to me that they cannot make any changes in the payment method if reservation was made thru a third party. I told them that it is probably the tenth time I reserved for another person and never have that situation.

The king size bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The linens were fresh and clean. The room was quiet and the A/C kept the temperature nice and cool during a very hot day. The hotel is in the parking lot of a large mall, which could be convenient. The staff members we encountered were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The fridge and microwave were appreciated, and the coffee at breakfast was very good for hotel coffee. We did not have anything else at the breakfast. The desk and chair were convenient.

The age of the hotel is showing. Carpets, while vacuumed, are dingy and dark and probably need to be deep-cleaned or replaced. The armchair in our sofa-bed king room was dirty and worn, with holes in the upholstery; we did not sit in it. The leatherette sofa was better but again, wearing out. However, for the price and convenient location, it was okay for a night or two. If we need to return to Hagerstown we would likely stay there again.

Staff friendly. Mentioned problems with room. One problem taken care of right away, other noted for maintenance - felt as good response.

Outside seems grounds could be cleaned better. There are way too many cigarette butts on the ground. Parking lot: Handicap parking a bit away from the door. Regular spots, no pass thur from front parking area. One must walk around the long island or walk up and over stones on the island. Just could be designed better.

The cleanliness and size of room

We accidentally left a stuffed puppy under the blankets n didn’t realize it until we were far down the highway headed to home. I called the desk and was told that even if I sent money to send it to us “ because it had a very sentimental value “ I was told they-you don’t do that but we could come pick it up! That was very very sad because that just was not a opportunity available to us! We are left heart broken

We stopped for the night on our way to CT. The hotel is located conveniently off I-81, we had stayed here before. The room was good. Bed comfortable, a sitting area with a couch. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Overall, it was good for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was your basic continental breakfast, and all we needed before checking out. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast is awesome! The old lady(forgot her name)in the kitchen and facilitating the breakfast was so friendly and professional. Mr. Jay and they Reception desk with other staff are helpful. They managed to accommodate us despite of not seeing our reservation thru booking.com.

Some guests (adults) were very inconsiderate playing ball in the indoor pool like they own it. They were all over the water. Which other people couldn’t do anything but wait. It would be nice if someone will facilitate or at least check the place from time to time.
