The location was great. Rooms were comfortable. Majority of the staff were very nice and helpful.

They had gotten a new tv provider and the stations weren’t working g correctly. Sent a tech up and couldn’t figure it out. They were calling the provider but it never got fixed. Also, we asked the restaurant if we could get hot tea, and were told that they didn’t have hot water…the machine was broken. We thought that was bizarre because you can heat water in a microwave. Anyway, we gave up on that as well.

Room was large, airy and clean and in an excellent location, walking distance to touristy spots, bars and restaurants. Check in was quick and easy and free cookies were a bonus. Staff were all friendly polite and helpful including the lovely receptionists and valet parking guys. There was a fridge and microwave in the room and plenty of charging points and sockets. Barman (Ishmail)was good fun and made great cocktails and was knowledgeable about local area etc and kept the bar running smoothly. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will return next time we are in Boston

Parking was $65 per night but information on booking.com quoted $25 per night non access or $45 with in and out access.

The hotel is in a central location for the whole of downtown Boston, you can access areas such as Fenway park, Back bay, North End and all the etc.. very easily. The hotel is very quiet (no disturbance from hospital) and has a restaurant, bar and shop. Our room was amble size and the bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed staying at Doubletree and exploring Boston. Shout out to the Reception team who were very quick and professional. Bonus - Starbucks is attached to the hotel for those early morning caffeine drinks.

I booked this hotel because of its location to the Wang theatre. After booking I read some awful reviews. However thank goodness I didn’t change my reservation as this is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I am a world traveller. The staff couldn’t do enough and the facilities in the bedrooms are outstanding. It’s a beautiful relaxed environment. The food is also good. Touriya on reception was the most helpful person i have encountered on my travels but a big high five to all the staff.

Absolutely nothing to dislike in this hotel. Ihave stayed in 5* that haven’t been as good as this hotel.

After having a harrowing experience at Double Tree New York, we arrived here with many apprehensions. Contrary to our expectations, we felt welcomed at this property. Check-in was a breeze, the facilities are good, managing our luggage was easy, and the food was awesome. I forgot a few staff names at check-in, the restaurant, housekeeping, and maintenance, but they were excellent. The service at this property was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable, big, and clean. The bathroom is really spacious. Overall, a value for money property.

The location was fantastic. Right by Tufts hospital. In Chinatown. Close access to the start of the Freedom Trail as well as restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The cookie at check-in was a really nice touch. We were able to text someone prior to check in and throughout our stay. That was incredibly helpful.

Parking was expensive. The hotel overall appeared clean. Our floor was not vacuumed well. Complimentary water at check-in would’ve been appreciated.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Good and clean facilities, great F&B services. Great location.

The only negative comment is that our room view (level 1) was some sort of a nursery school yard with mommies sitting in a bench literally next to our window. We had to close the curtains (no daylight) for privacy and tried to avoid school hours in the room due to the noise.

The location of the hotel is excellent, a short 10 minute walk from Boston downtown, the South station and the harbour. We were asked of our room preference, if we would prefer a room on a lower or high floor, etc. The beds were comfortable and the room in general was clean.

There wasn't much we didn't like, the bathroom could use a little touch-up but other than that, the hotel was very value for money.

I like the fact that the room I was in was a handicapped accessible one. The service was excellent. My wife and I have used the Double Tree due to its location across the street from Tufts Medical Center where I recently had a heart transplant. The amenities are top notch. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. We recommend Double Tree to all of our friends and family.

Good location albeit a little noisy at times as near hospital. Our room was good but over looked a children's nursery play park. I would have thought there should have been more screens up outside to protect children privacy from the room.

Aircon was noisy, Charge for early checkin ... if the room's ready its ready!
