Location is fantastic, perfect for accessing everything we wanted to do. The hotel is clean, modern, has a great vibe, and staff is wonderful. We used the fitness room and ate breakfast at the hotel two times. The meal was perfect each time, hot, ample, the coffee great, and service flawless. The concierges were very helpful with meal recommendations, Clarence especially. They recommended Antonios and Cafe Bonjour which were both wonderful. And Beantown Pub next door is great. The complimentary wine at 5 pm was appreciated. Housekeeping was attentive without our asking, and these days where you have to normally beg for it, that was appreciated.

Our room was a bit small, with only room for one person to work on a computer on a small table. A minor thing. The A/C unit kept me up one night with the noise from cycling on and off. The hotel is aware and was very gracious about it. Also there are added charges to be aware of, a $65 valet charge we chose to avoid by delaying our car rental, a nightly destination charge, and 19% obscene taxes, (that's the fault of the city of Boston). The room was stocked with snacks and drinks but we didn't use them at all because so pricey, $12 for a small bag of chips.

No coffee maker in the room or microwave. I stayed 4 nights and would have loved to have them in the room

Staff not really helpful or encouraged or friendly. We asked twice for a cup of coffee and it took 1 hour in the end…. Receptionist told my wife she had carry her luggage to the car by herself because there’s no bellman available and it”s not the duty of front desk… Not acceptable for a hotel at this price…. Only the bellman on arrival was great…

The staff, room, location, and amenities were all wonderful! We felt welcomed as soon as we entered, and it was a great place to call home for a few nights. Sometimes hotels sacrifice comfort for style, but not here. The bed was very comfortable, and we had plenty of space to spread out with our items. And nothing really beats that view! Everyone working there was so kind, offering suggestions for things to do in the area and helping us when needed. Will definitely stay here again when in Boston next!

The only potential update I would make is having TVs that allow streaming from our laptops or phones. With no connectivity to streaming services (at least that we could find), we settled for watching things on our laptop in bed, which wasn't too bad! Just would have been nicer to watch on the nice, big TV.

Great location - just north of Boston Common so easy access to the main area of Boston and also over to Faneuil Hall. Staff great and friendly and we had a large comfy room with city views. Asked for a kettle that they provided with tea bags. Used the restaurant twice which was really good as well.

Could do with some USB ports in the room and none of the plus were in the correct place - otherwise all good.

Wonderful location: easy to walk or subway to everywhere we wanted to go as first time Boston visitors. Room clean and quiet with city view. Knowledgeable and approachable staff who helped us plan our city time. Special thanks to staff John, Shirley, and Nate for taking wonderful care of us. They felt like friends by the end of our stay.

Great staff & room! We ate dinner at the hotel, it was very good to us! Super great location for the Freedom Trail, starts right outside. Directly across the street is Granary Burying Ground with Boston Commons just down the street. Walked most of the Freedom Trail in one day. Lots of history!! Cool pub for dinner in drinks right next door and they even have a pool table!!

Nothing, everything was great!

The locations and the view absolutely cannot be beat. The staff were also very helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the entire facility was clean and well-kept. Driving and parking might be tricky for an out-of-towner, but a taxi/Uber will get you to/from the airport in maybe 20 minutes, And the central location places you directly on the Freedom Trail and maybe a 15 minute walk to just about anything.

This isn't only specific to this hotel: I have no idea why hotels in the last 5 years or so are putting sliding barn doors on their bathrooms. I could hear approximately 90% of what my partner was doing in there.

Room layout for 2 queens was exceptional. Loved the large bathroom. A/C operation was fabulous. Quiet hallway and recess into room. Unbelievable location near Common. Didn't try any of the amenities so can't comment. We never use many of the hotel amenities during our visits.

Need to improve location and increase the outlet and charging ports in the room layout. Fix sealing around room door to limit noise from hallway.

lobby under construction - quite claustrophobic corridor leading to the elevators, air-conditioning in the room which we didnt know how to control (either freezing wind or heating wave - we couldnt get desired state), very expensive
