the location was great

the extra charge of $30 per night as a destination fee! i had already paid for the hotel and did not expect this charge

Great location with proximity to North End Dining and Tourist attractions, close to transport and places to eat.

Destination charge of $30 per room per night feels like a bit of a gotcha after booking - explained as being due to central location - I thought that was what the room charge was for? Might as well advertise the room as $30 more and skip the disappointment of the additional mandatory charge. Looks like the marketing folk need to finish the business integrity course!

The location was perfect, right across from Quincy Market and Fanneil Hall. It was one of the better priced options for the city when I booked as well. The restaurant downstairs served $5 Sam Adams pints during the weekday which was convenient and close. Better prices than across the street. The beds were quite comfortable and the rooms were large.

The loud music from Quincy Market continued past 1am, and the street below got noisy early cleaners, cop car sirens, horn honking, and sometimes people yelling. So we needed to bring ear plugs. There was a small refrigerator in the room, but it was completely packed with sensors that would charge your room if anything got moved. We could purchase a fridge for $20 for our stay but with so many food options across the street, I think they could skip the mini bar and just give every one refrigerator instead which would have been more convenient.

Beautiful and right in the middle of downtown where we were able to walk everywhere

On check in day it had snowed 7 inches and was currently freezing rain so we were soaking wet and cold and asked at 2:30pm when we got there if we could go ahead and check in and they told us no we had to wait until 3, so we had to sit in the lobby freezing for 30 minutes… I asked the front desk for a sharps container for my shots so I wasn’t putting used needles in the trash and they called housekeeping and housekeeping said they didn’t know if they had one so they would have to look for one and to come back and ask again later in my stay to see if they found one

Everything was wonderful - except, added fees that were not disclosed in advance.

The added fee for early check in (that was not stated at time of asking/securing from the facility (I'm sure my husband and I could have found something to do for 3 hours. Not to mention, we checked out 5 hours early and wasn't given any type CREDIT for that (which I didn't expect to receive); and, 2) The AUTOMATIC 20% tip at their restaurant - the few times we ate there, I would not rate the service or food as being 20% tip worthy;

Perfect location for historical district, Little Italy, proximity to subway or train. Ample restaurants, entertainment, and short walks to shopping. Everything is near this spot. Fenway a short train ride away. We had a great time at Fenway, great seats, ushers were the best. The bellhops are excellent professionals. They know the city, represent the hotel very well, and always a smile and greeting. The gym is sufficient for most exercising.

Great Location, great view of Boston! Comfortable and big room and the complimentary coffee was great.

Only one lift seems to be in operation. Housekeeping needs a bit of guidance as there was cobwebs on the wall and a half eaten pretzel by the TV cabinet, however the rest of the room was clean. No complimentary water and there was a fridge but it didn’t work and there was a sign saying not to use it.

We stayed for 12 nights —a long stay for Boston hotels, and the night they gave us a triple room (there were 3 of us) with a wall as a view. It must be said, the same night we complained saying we were spending there 12 nights and that we deserved a better room than a basement with a brick wall as a view. The next day we were moved to the 7th floor with an outstanding view. Location, amazing, as promised. Staff very kind and helpful in general, especially the Colombian service was outstanding and very pleasant.

The price —way too high for the level of services. Dietary needs —warned in advance— were met with a cardboard gluten free bread and they charged you 1$ extra for the bread (2 slices). But the staff tried to be helpful and accommodating at all times.

The Bostonian is a perfect location. Its right next to Fanueil Hall, a quick walk from the Northend and historic restaurants (Oyster House, Bell in Hand and more). We stayed over for a concert we wttended at TD Garden. It was a beautiful summer evening and we were able to walk to and from the venue (it wasn’t our initial plan, but the walk was not as bad as we thought). This is our 3rd time staying here. Highly recommend!

Room was great, nice and clean and comfortable. It like staying at the Bostonian because it is a class hotel, and is in a great location. The room accommodations have always been great.

some of the front desk staff lacked focus, attention and personality. Our check in was a so-so experience. I did not fell like they were happy to have us stay in the hotel. I stayed here twice in 2024, both times one of the elevators was out or service. This was inconvenient.
