This hotel was great! We arrived in Boston late, at like 9pm, and walked to the hotel from the Back Bay train station. Check in was easy, the room was everything we needed after a long travel day- it was clean, friendly, the bed was comfortable, the decor was cheerful, the bathroom was very clean and it contained everything we needed. I wish we stayed longer than just the one quick night and I would definitely stay here again.

The price was very expensive for a one night place to sleep after a long travel day. If we had stayed longer and taken advantage of more of the hotels offerings, it would have made the price reasonable.

We were able to check in a little early, which helped us open up our afternoon a bit. We were warmly greeted and welcomed like the long- lost returnees that we were- it has been a few years since we had stayed here. The bar food and experience had improved since the last time, which made it an appealing option to consider for an early dinner. We were able to settle in and begin a long-awaited vacation.

We felt much more at home this time. The rooms are fairly small but this time we made it work for us. The added "resort fees" and the room cleaning fees are annoying, in light of the fact that this is not a "resort", nor is room cleaning performed until after a second night's stay. We did not feel compelled to leave a gratuity, which is unusual for us. Otherwise, this was a good visit and an improvement over previous stays.

The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. The room was very clean and had cute decor. The room itself is about the size of a pineapple, but kudos to the designer who took a small space and made it work beautifully! We put our suitcase under the nightstand (although there is a special cutout under the bed for it). Super duper clean!! We enjoyed our stay. Only negative for us was that we stayed on the 2nd floor which was directly above the restaurant/bar and we could hear the music (earplugs did not do the trick). I would suggest requesting a higher floor if you are a light sleeper. But all -in - all, great place to stay!

The position of the hotel is great and central, and the neighborhood around is very nice. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The hotel had a bar/restaurant open to the public on the ground floor, and it was nice and full of young people. Indeed, I suggest to choose this stay if you are a young couple or group of friends. When booking, I’ve found this option the most convenient in terms of quality-price.

Of course the convenient price with respect to other structures comes at some cost. The room was on average clean but furniture was quite dusty and the bathroom was tiny. The room cleaning service is provided just if you stay more than 2 nights. Furthermore, there was light coming from the window - which could be easily solved with a pair of curtains - + the window was not soundproof and could hear all the traffic coming from the street outside.

I loved the eclectic decor inside the room and the inventive use of the pull up desk counter. The glam theme and lighting was a nice touch as well. I appreciated the free water bottle that I refilled at the lobby cooler. Although I didn't use either of the 2 free bikes for use from sunup to sunset, it was nice to have as an option to get around.

I had only 1 minor issue with the window falling inward after a few hours of being opened (upwards). Apparently it was off its tracks and the force of the wind suction as I opened the door to the room, was enough to pull the windows further off its tracks and fall into the room. Fortunately, no one was by the window when that happened, but it was startling and involved a call for maintenance to come up. I was only slightly delayed for my next appointment, but it's something that I hope was permanently fixed, so the next occupant won't have the same incident. Additionally, the bathroom sink is so small that washing one's face results in a lot of water dripping down one's arms and onto the floor. I know it's a tight spot but a bigger sink is really necessary.

The hotel was truly delightful! Clean and nicely appointed. Bed was really comfortable and AC really got the room cold. Location was perfect. Two breakfast spots and a 7-11 right around the corner. Easy walk to the T station. Parking in front of the hotel made it really easy to load in bags.

A refrigerator. The rooms could really use a refrigerator. On our last day, I was on my way out, and the man at the desk looked at me and said "good morning". I got my car from the garage and parked in front of the hotel to load the bags, then remembered I had to grab something from 7-11. Before I could turn the corner, the same man came out and started yelling at me to move my car or he was going to have it towed. I stared to walk back and explained to him that I was a guest and I was just running around the corner, but would be right back. He wasn't listening to me, and continued to yell at me to move my car. I finally walked all the back to him and said "I'm a guest! I'm staying here!"

Perfect location in a nice neighbourhood, close to Back Bay, but quieter. Nice city view from 8th floor. The room was small, but thoughtfully designed. I had more space for my case than some bigger rooms we stayed in. Very comfy bed and the perfect soft pillow type. Lively bar on the ground floor, but didn't hear the noise from top floor (requested a quieter room, so thanks for that). Love the modern concept and branding.

Water went a bit hot/cold in shower, but not a huge problem. More storage for your own toiletries in the bathroom would be useful.

This is a really wonderful hotel - the location is perfect for local places to eat, with a short walk into the main shopping area. The staff are wonderful - super friendly and lots of lovely touches (free drink in the bar on arrival; our room was decorated with balloons and rose petals as it was our honeymoon!), and the bar was full every night we were there (but we didn't hear a peep from it on the 5th floor). The only niggle which they can't really do anything about, is that I am very small and the monsoon shower heads are quite high up! The water pressure isn't strong so showers were ok, not great. Otherwise, perfect in every way.

Thoughtful hospitality, quality environment and design.

Online check in was poorly worded and came across as aggressive on first read (seemed to indicate surprise $50 daily fee for example but that was just a temporary authorization). I was expecting to get nickeled and dimed after that, but that was not the case, we were even welcomed by the pleasant staff with a complimentary drink. Mini fridges would be a great room addition but otherwise thoughtfully and chicly designed and good quality eg Moen showerheads

Great location - South End and near Back Bay. Great decor and very quiet room - I upgraded to a corner room, so no one passed by my door. Would recommend doing this - well worth it. Very comfortable bed with two duvets instead of fitted sheets. Also had the most controllable temperature settings of any hotel I've stayed in with air con and adjustable radiator - both worked and could get the room temp just right. Great place for breakfast round the corner. Felt pretty safe walking back from restaurants at night. Check in and check out really easy and staff friendly and helpful. So much nicer than the corporate hotels I usually stay in for work trips. Highly recommended.

A mini fridge would be nice!
