The room was one of the most spacious I ever been into a hotel (double queen with fireplace). Felt very comfortable with two teenagers. I loved the fact that there were trained staff to start the fire in the fireplace. I also loved the fact that the water was free! The location was amazing, lovely to walk around. Also, the staff were always smiling, happy and ready to help. Just a good vibe overall.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like per say, there was no coffee or tea available to make in the room, but I would take the free water anytime over coffee :). Also the first morning, we slept in as we were tired from arriving late at night. Not sure if there is a certain time until housekeeping works, but noticed that if we stayed till mid day in the room, it was not cleaned. I could have probably requested to be cleaned, but it didn’t bother us if a day was missed.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it stood out from the rest of the buildings around it! This was an "old style" unique boutique hotel that oozed in character! We were met by door staff that rushed over to aid us with our cases and bring them to our reception. We were asked if we needed any water after our long trip from Ireland. (It was needed, along with something stiffer😊) We were "checked in" efficiently with courtesy and professionalism, and the tone was set.. The manager of the hotel 'Paul' came over to us and practically "put his arm" around us with a "welcome to Boston and welcome to The Lennox" greeting. Paul went above and beyond for us, and we were shown to our room (which was huge, and were greeted with Lindth chocolates on the bed, water in the fridge, the room was fantastic and luxurious) We then proceeded to a bar to "wet the lips" (a choice of 4 x bars, all unique styles). We were met by John, who whipped up two "creamy" pints of Arthur's finest Guiness and some fine wines for the girls and cokes for the kids. John knew his stuff and left no stone unturned for us as did Janelle and the rest of his colleagues during our stay. I could say so much more about the beautiful foods we ate and more about the great staff that helped us on our trip. Thanks to Paul and the guys - we have found a new home in Boston when we we come back again. Thanks again, Danny, Tracy, Martin, Pamela, and kids.

We had to leave it!

I was very impressed with the room size. We were four persons in the family and the two Queen beds were perfect for our comfort considering we stayed for 8 nights. The two armchairs and desk with chair were awesome. The coffee (which was good) and tea in the morning at the Lobby was very convenient. The people at the Front Door are very helpful and friendly. When you call for anything, you receive your request right away! Furthermore, the room had windows on two sides. The one beside my bed I could look out to and watch the sky and the people on the street.

The Lenox hotel was just stunning. Coffee every morning in the foyer was a lovely touch. It was so central.beside Newbury street. The Boston library was just across the road.what a place to visit.just amazing. The staff each and every one of them always had a smile on their face. Nothing was ever a problem For them. Could not recommend this hotel enough. If you are thinking of booking it don’t hesitate.

I loved everything

I checked in after a long trip on the west coast, asked for a high quiet room, and when what I found was still too noisy (next to the elevator), the staff quickly relocated me to another floor. The bed was super comfortable for my bad back, and the gym was perfect for my needs, with a couple of Peloton bikes and weights, all to myself.

I would have liked to have coffee/tea makings in the room. I don't love getting dressed and going to the lobby first thing in the morning for coffee. At least there is a fridge and I could buy milk/tea for me own purposes. But for the price of the hotel, this seems basic.

Great location. We had superior queen room. There was enough place for 4 persons. Very comfy beds as well. Location is perfect for Boston. You can walk everywhere and there are lot of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Bus stop for Boston Logan Airport Express is 2 min. away. Will definitely stay in Lenox if visiting Boston again. And one more thing: the complimentary coffee in the morning is very good!

The room service and meals available via room service was/were excellent. The hotel itself and my room in particular were very clean. I enjoyed the ability to refill the carafe available in my room, as this provided a sustainable way to ensure that I had water with me at all times. The staff was also very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel was great, as there were many places to shop and the ride to Fenway (where I was headed) is fairly short and inexpensive (unless there is a surge in prices during the time you may be looking for a ride share service) via car. Overall, a great experience.

An improvement I may suggest is including toothpaste with the amenities provided. Though, all of those included already were great and much-appreciated!

Room was very comfortable - quiet, airy, great size, good quality bedding. Slept very well and we enjoyed being in it! Lifts were fantastic, never had to wait very long. Liked the atmosphere - although lobby quite dark. Staff friendly and helpful. Walked there from station and found our way round easily.

No Tea and coffee in the room (we were given kettle on night 3 which we were grateful for). Going down in morning to lobby for hot drink was annoying and there was no hot water for tea on one occasion and no normal tea bags. We are so used to European hotels providing this in the room. View was a building site. Found TV quite complicated to use and it felt like too many things carried an extra cost.

The attention to service was paramount! It was all the little details that made us feel welcome. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel offers filtered water and ice stations on each floor, which was so convenient. And the smell of the hotel fragrance was really nice!

The City Table restaurant was not a favorite dining experience. The service was a little lacking compared to the rest of the hotel.

the hospitality of the staff was exceptional! They went over and beyond to make our stay a memorable one! valet, doorman, front desk, luggage handlers, ALL FANTASTIC!! The location couldn’t be better! within walking distance of a of great sights. The Boston Library is a block away. The Prudential Center is 2 blocks away! Newbury Street is one block away! So many great restaurants and shops within minutes walking. Fenway Park is only 3/4 of a mile away. The Princess Suite is very large and comfortable! Comfy beds as well! Boutique Hotel was easy to get in an out of. Charming!

We had the Princess Suite which is very large with a walk-in closet and big bathroom but a small kitchenette would’ve been nice. Has a mini fridge in the closet but that’s about it. So much space could’ve been better utilized! The in room safe is too small to fit a laptop. A bigger safe would be nice.
