This was my old apartment from 30 years ago so it was super fun to stay here!! The bed was comfy but covers were a little flimsy. The bathroom used to have its own thermostat and I definitely missed that when I showered. Brrr! Actually found the whole heating situation a bit confusing. I love most of the updates and of course the location is tough to beat. Lots of stairs with no elevator so pack light!! Cleaning lady we bumped into in hallway was friendly. Overall, this is a nice one bedroom place in a great location - close to public transport, shops, groceries - and a relative bargain especially if you do one or more meals in the room. I def recommend staying in one of the rear facing rooms - what you give up is the view but the rear is so much quieter than the front! I think if you can manage the stairs you’ll really enjoy your stay.

Not a ton of closet space but there is a chest of drawers. Try to pack light if going for more than a couple days.

We were really pleased with the location. It was a work/vacay trip and we had two toddlers with us. The in unit laundry and dryer were lifesavers. The kitchen we super helpful as our eldest has a sever allergy so eating out is not always an option. Our only real concerns were the windows not having much safety with children. We were 3rd floor and they could be opened enough for a toddler to fall out. Our 4 yr was able to open the windows and move the window up. Thankfully we caught it, but it was on us for assuming the windows were sealed or permanently locked. The other sorta issue was the pullout couch. I would say it's fine for young kids and maybe teens but any adult would have a very hard time sleeping on. It just needs to be replaced or support fixed on the one side as there's about an inch difference in height to one side. Overall an amazing place to stay quiet and safe street for a city.

Convient, modern, comfortable bed, all the amenities and clean.

3 flights of very narrow steep stairs with broken railings, very difficult to manouver with luggage and dangerous with the railings but if you fell you would land on the continual pile of laundry at the bottom of the stairs inside the front door. Had to climb over these bags of laundry that was always there day or night. Not sure what it was for because ours was never refreshed and it seemed like way more that was needed for 4 Apartments. It did not detur us however not professional for the price of the room.

Top notch location. Tastefully remodeled and comfortable. Parking spot in back (when available) was a huge plus.

The refrigerator compressor has a constant, low pitch clicking noise that can be pretty distracting for any guest sleeping in the pullout couch. You may need to look in to maintenance or replacing the fridge. With parking, please make it more obvious that this has to be reserved and purchased separately in advance so that people can book it and not risk having a day or two where they have to scramble to park. Once we had the spot, though, it was great.

The manager was friendly, accommodating and communicated well. The apartment was in a great location and had everything we needed for making meals.

The toilet had some issues that affected our experience. We felt like we were being blamed for using too much tissue and clogging the toilet which was not the case. The toilet never functioned since arrival. Ultimately a professional plumber was brought in and replaced both the flapper and a seized water shutoff valve. Everything turned out fine in the end and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great location, clean facilities. We love all surrounding restaurants, shops and walking roads.

We stay there for 2 weeks but the toilet, bedding and laundery supplies are not enough, even I sent out requests several time, I had to buy them by my own. In addition, there is no elevator, so it is quite hard if you have heavy lugguges

Great location! The apartment is comfortable, nicely decorated, modern and it has all the basics for a short stay in beautiful Boston. Newbury street has plenty of shopping and dining options, and it’s very well connected to public transportation.

Wifi didn’t work on Android phones. The washing machine didn’t work either. In case of any questions or needs, it’s better to call the staff, as they were not responsive through the Booking.com app. There was no elevator, which was problematic only when we needed to carry our luggage.

The room was bright and faced the street. We could open the window and have a nice unwind time after walking all over Boston. The location was perfect for getting everywhere and the little kitchen was just the right size for breakfast and making it feel home like. Bed was comfy the walk up was easy.

Honestly it had everything we needed. #5 was just perfect for our family of 3.

Very stylish and comfortable for my husband, myself and our 17 year old son who slept on the pull out while we visited Boston and toured some colleges. Great layout and furnishings. Wonderful street.

For those who plan to cook, you must bring everything food-wise. The cupboards have just cookware and flatware. No salt and pepper or oil.

Amazing location, just where we wanted to be in the heart of Back Bay. Apartment was a good size for our group. Very clean and modern. Pullout couch in living room was very comfortable- not like a typical hide-a-bed. Nice to have laundry accessible.

The main door to the building would not close properly without quite a bit of work, therefore the door was often left ajar by others. While we felt safe in our apartment, this seems like something that should be fixed before something happens. The main lobby area seemed to be used for laundry bag drop off as well as someone’s personal packages. These blocked access to the stairs and exterior door and never moved during our stay. Not a great look and inconvenient to get around.
