I came off the Midstate trail after 4 days of solo hiking and camping and the staff really took care of me and my sore and tired body. They showed me to the laundry, the hot tub and the restaurant, where I had an excellent meal. Best sleep in that awesomely appointed room. The hotel is gorgeous. I will make this my annual finishing point for some TLC after a long hike.

Your photos online do not do justice to the property. Please show off a bit online and run some more marketing. People need to know more about The Colonial Hotel.

It was beautiful outside, the staff was so friendly and the amenities were great. There were no weird smells despite needing a bit of spruce inside, they kept the parking lot salted and plowed with all the snow, the sheets and towels were clean and check in/check out was a breeze

Inside could use some love, water damage could be spotted everywhere, the elevator was out which was a bit of a pain with a heavy suitcase-for sure someone older wouldn’t be able to manage as stairs in lobby were a bit steep and my sink after using was leaking a brown substance from between it and the countertop.

LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR TOURNMENT IN TOWN.

I MADE MY OWN RESERVATION THROUGH BOOKING.COM, BUT THEN I WAS INFORMED THAT MY VOLLEYBALL CLUB HAD MADE A RESERVATION, SO NOW I HAD TWO RESERVATIONS MADE IN MY NAME. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO BOOKING.COM WEBSITE AND CANCELLED THAT RESERVATION. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE COLONIAL HOTEL THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME THERE WERE 2 RESERVATIONS UNDER MY NAME. I CALLED THE COLONIAL HOTEL BUT THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT CANCEL THE BOOKING.COM RESERVATION, SO I CALLED BOOKING.COM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUBMITTED MY REQUEST FOR REIMBURSEMENT.

Staff is always nice ! Property is beautiful at Christmas..all lit up! Bar and restaurant are a bonus! Pool, hot tub also a plus! Great snacks and drinks available and other necessities for purchase!

The pool is never heated to a warm enough temperature to swim in during the winter…This is my 3rd time with no luck…I want my grandson to be able to be in the big heated pool… Also, breakfast everyday should be a given…some kind of option available for guests… The thermostat in my room read 60? Not accurate…needs checking..

I remember loving the breakfast on other occasions. Since I stayed midweek, there was no breakfast. I loved the receptionists were very good too. The hotel was beautiful, with lovely furniture downstairs. The towels were nice and thirsty. The beds were very comfy. I loved having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. I did go to the restaurant for dinner. It was wonderful. The host and server were very attentive. We got beautiful fresh baked bread. The meal was excellent. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

The pool could be warmer. It's nice when you can go in, and be comfortable immediately. I wish breakfast was available. A lot of times when we go away, there is a breakfast with hot food, we especially love it when they have a waffle machine available. Anyways, these are just thoughts.

The room size was average, everything was clean and comfortable. Did not stay long enough to tip honestly. TV was fine, only watched one channel. Staff was very friendly at check in. Variety of things at the little store.

The Colonial Grill was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. $16 for a mixed drink is way too expensive and my coworker's meal did not seem like there was much to it for the price she paid, Service was friendly but very slow for not a lot of people dining. It seemed like some of what we ordered was forgotten about until reminded.

Loved the castle type feel, with something for the entire family to do. The on site restaurant was delicious and handled the sold out hotel with ease. My son had a blast in the game room, and my husband and I loved the hot tub and sauna. The staircase was beautiful, it truly gave the feeling for being grand.

The stairwells felt a little unsafe, a little cut off from the rest of the hotel. There didn’t appear to be any cameras in the stairwells, which was concerning in the event something was to happen.

This was a beautiful hotel, the staff was friendly. The facilities were clean. They had a full restaurant and bar as well as three significant sized function/banquet rooms. And for all of that, I thought it was more than reasonably priced.

We did have issues with the TV, but not enough for me to call the front desk. Honestly, I just think it was something about dish and us not knowing the ins and outs of it. It had more than your standard cable and the ability to watch your own Netflix.

The pool, the jacuzzi, the play room, the excessive room. The breakfast. The AC in the room. The decorations of the hotel.

I had a little trouble opening the room door with my key. The green light didn’t stay long enough for me to open the door and you had to push the door very hard. But an employee help me. I was afraid to go out of the room, because I didn’t think I could open it by myself. Also the ice machine on the first floor was out of order.

Comfortable room and a pleasant location, large parking lot and roomy lobby area. There aren't many options in the area. Good bed, plenty of towels, hot shower, room had a mini fridge and microwave.

Room doors slam shut. Can be noisy. 19 dollars for a meager breakfast buffet was criminal when a loaded diner breakfast in the area goes for ten bucks. The food was good, but it was on par with free breakfast at chain hotels.
