The hotel provides snacks, fruits and drinks right at the place where we checked in and it's available 24 hours so it's quite convenient. The room is big, quite spacious. The hotel is quite near the center, less than 10 minutes drive. Although the hotel is located on the main road, we didn't have any problem with the noise. Overall experience was great.

No elevator which is understandable coz it's only 2-story property but it's not convenient for those who big luggage.

The room was spotless upon arrival as well as spacious and beautiful, just what my girlfriend and i needed to escape for a night. i just wish we had gotten there in time to swim in the pool!! the night staff are very helpful as well. we arrived at ten pm and they answered my call almost immediately; within several minutes we had our room and room code. i would happily come back for a weekend, walk around the town, explore the restaurants in the area, and sightsee!! Thank you Riverhouse for the excellent experience, we’ll most certainly be back!!

Very comfortable beds. Nice staff. In fact, the staff were really lovely and that always helps!

Tbh, it was no better than the Quality Inns we’ve stayed in - it’s a motel - but was twice the price. It was an absolutely fine for a quick overnight stop but I would certainly not call it a boutique hotel, which is what the website said.

Bed was super comfortable and room was massive. Microwave and fridge was handy. A nice walk into town for dinner and an easy drive to Mt Monadnock. Nice location but the river.

Lots of noise from upstairs neighbours. I don’t think they were being deliberately loud but were walking around a lot and it really came through the ceiling.

The location was superb walking distance to Peterborough. Which is gorgeous. The staff were amazing so friendly and happy. Great parking Rooms are spacious and comfortable

If you are on the ground floor note that you can hear everyone walking around in the room above it’s just how the property is built but perhaps a thought if you have a solo traveler put them on the top as it would be less movement than a family.

Very nice and cosy place. Generous size room. Superbly comfortable beds. Smooth check-in process, even though there was no one at the reception desk. We had been told well in advance how things would work and it was exactly as described.

A very minor glitch at check-out - my credit card got double charged. It was resolved very promptly (within one hour).

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. The hotel is right on the river and very close to downtown. It was a very pleasant stay.

We heard people walking around in the room above us an excessive amount, like they were doing exercises. Surprised the sound of the footsteps was fairly loud.

The reason I chose Riverhouse is because of its location. It is a 15 minute walk to Peterborough along a sidewalk and busy 2 lane road. There aren’t many places to stay in this area. Room was clean, and I liked the bedding. Woman at front desk was helpful checking in.

Location perfect! It was clean, comfortable and cozy. Checking was easy—was sent a code for the room because I was checking in at 8 pm, the hotel staff were excellent communicators—kept me up to date through emails and texts!

Good location close to Peterborough town center (15 min walk) and close to a walking path (15-20 min walk). Clean and comfortable, free snacks.
