Carpet: outdated and torn by the bathroom. Couch: dirty looking VERY disappointed that there is no longer a shuttle to/from Tufts. It was why we chose this hotel. Please update all social media to indicate this new status and contact Tufts, as well. They also indicate the availability of your shuttle service. Again VERY UNHAPPY about this change.

When I arrived at the reception at 1 am, I was disconcerted to learn that my reservation had been cancelled. I had not received the slightest notification. Of course, I was stressed and highly unsettled by this unwelcome surprise. This has never happened to me before with Booking. On my Booking account, the reservation was valid and confirmed. Luckily, a very kind and friendly staff member named Ashley made me feel comfortable and at home. She allowed me to stay in the lounge until the situation was resolved. She managed to find me a room as there was a no-show at 3 am. Again, Ashley dealt with the situation professionally and expressed genuine care for my comfort. I believe she deserves a raise, a promotion and good bottle of wine. I also want to mention Raymond who took an interest in my case. He also deserves a raise and a free dinner at a fine dining establishment in Boston. Finally, I want to mention Doria at Booking Customer Service who provided valuable assistance to me with much patience and tact. I believe that her intervention helped resolve the predicament.

Arriving at a hotel to find out that my reservation was not valid and that the hotel was fully booked. This was highly stressful. I still do not know how this happened.

Great staff, breakfast included, comfortable beds, room was well maintained, nice big TV, excellent shower, gym and pool areas were great.

They skipped cleaning our room and giving us fresh towels at least half the time. The location is not five minutes from downtown Boston, more like 30 min with any sort of traffic. Just be realistic on that. They should add a trash can on each floor and fix the ice machines.

Staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and spacious, though the air conditioner sounded like an animal was stuck in the unit. Water pressure was wonderful, but the shower curtain didn't do well to keep the water off of the floor.

I am not a fan of the brand of hair care and body wash product line. The smell was okay, but definitely not as nice as other places I have stayed. Please provide more of the larger bath towels as not everyone is a size 7!

The bedroom was large with an additional seating and study area. Everything was immaculately clean. Plenty of car parking space. Hot and cold breakfast. Staff were great.

Unfortunately there was a lot of very loud construction noise outside every morning from very early. There was a strange 'thing' inside the bedroom heater which included a red and blue flashing light which shone/danced on the ceiling all night. Car parking was very expensive ($15 pn) which considering the out-of-city-centre, spacious location seemed mean.

Staff was very helpful. We got 6 sheets/towels for 6 people booking which is unusual for Hyatt Place – we always have to ask reception and wait forever. I also changed car and there was no problem to get new parking tag. Overall good.

As with Hyatt Place the breakfast door is half-closed 30 minutes before end of breakfast and staff starts to wrap up generating queues and giving feeling you are not welcome to use the facilities - very annoying. Breakfast is poor anyway. Overall not great value for money. I'm not sure why Boston was so expensive for us especially given suboptimal location.

Breakfast exceeded expectations, and the staff that served the meal were very kind. The rooms were exceptionally clean, thank you to the housekeeping staff. The location was out of downtown, and near some great food options and a grocery store. We left in the early morning, and the night auditor found us some breakfast foods. Felt like a safe area, and felt like car was safe. Although, I don't think I would let my wife or daughters go for a walk alone in that area.

No microwave in the rooms. Pay extra $15/night for parking. Coffee was ok, but the creamer options were terrible, just land of lakes unrefrigerated half/half. The exercise room is very small with only 3 cardio pieces of equipment, and barely any room to move around.

Seemed expensive for being so far out from the city. Exiting the back parking lot forces you into the highway. Some details: Hallways are dated with carpet shredding in spots. Everybody seemed constantly confused about whether the elevators were going up or down. I think there just aren’t enough elevators .

Very convenient to Boston. Parking in the lower parking garage or the back parking lot was convenient and plentiful. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Close to many types of dining spots from quick eats to fine dining. Fairly close to the T.

There were no vending machines on our floor, unsure if they were on other floors. It said vending and ice, but there was only ice but it’s not a huge deal because the store downstairs has drinks 24/7. Also, the couch that we had had a huge stain on the cushion and underneath the cushion that kind of smells. It was not a dealbreaker for us, but it was kind of gross. Especially since one side of that is a pullout bed.

The head worker for the kitchen was exceptional. She was kind, and helpful! I came in late to eat breakfast and i appreciated her willingness to bring me some food that was already being put away.

The pool hours. Also, I wish we were worn of the Marathon or 5k happening on Saturday. It was quite a rude awakening. Our room was switched and I wondered if we originally had a room that was not facing the back parking lot and race area.
