I stayed at this hotel because it was conveniently close to Harvard, where I was attending a seminar. I arrived earlier than the check-in time since I needed to register for the seminar, and the staff was kind enough to let me check in early without any issues. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast staff—they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast itself was continental for $26, but you also had the option to order smaller dishes à la carte without paying for the full continental. Overall, a great experience!

Location amazing

The lighting system was not properly working and the door hits the toilet. No ADA. No fitness and I had to ask to have the freezer and kettle brough a couple of times. It shall go per default on every room. Other than that perfect place

The bed was big enough. The added bed was there already, which I really appreciated that.

I hope to have free breakfast and the jets in the bathroom was broken. I wanted to have a jets to take a jets bath when the water was there but the jets was not work.

I knew it was a good hotel, exactly in the middle of Harvard; across Radcliffe institute- it was a perfect choice for me. The smell of the hotel, the comfort, cleanliness, safety, cozy atmosphere- I really didn’t want to leave! Thank you for this, will be back!

Service was excellent, every team member - housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, restaurant. Everyone really did their best.

Rooms are dated but large and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like night lights in the bathrooms. They are updating the rooms this Autumn.

The breakfast was delicious: the choice and quality of food provided exceeded expectations by far; the hotel keeps a historic and traditional charm in virtually every aspect but remains comfortable at all times;

The location was excellent, and the staff were very helpful, especially since I had to extend my stay unexpectedly. I was given a fairly high room as I'd requested -- thank you! -- and really enjoyed the quiet and the view in my room.

Even though the restaurant staff was helpful, I found the space where breakfast was served rather cold (in feel and in temperature), and the charge seemed high for what was offered. And although I know Boston hotel prices are expensive, paying about $500 a day was not easy.

The location was fabulous: Everything we wanted to see and do was nearby, and we enjoyed our walks through The Harvard Yard, Harvard Square and by the river. The bedroom was comfortable and the bed super cosy!

I found the bathroom too small and cramped.... and although there was an in-room coffee machine, the supplies of tea and coffee and milk were lacking. I thought the room was overpriced...

Beautiful property

The restaurant isn’t open for lunch and it is about an eight minute walk to Harvard Square. So no running out for a quick latte. That would be nothing normally but it was over 90 degrees when I was there so it was something. The walk would also be an issue in the heart of winter. Having a car would not help because there is no parking in Cambridge.
