Very nicely located hotel close to a T station and Harvard/MIT, perfect for solo and business travellers. A bit pricey for what you get, but this is true of Boston hotels in general. Really nice roof terrace and the restaurant Althea is great as well. Staff is friendly. The ice cream shop next door is amazing!

As a jetlagged international business visitor, I found it deeply unacceptable that even though my room was ready, they refused to give it to me unless I paid an early check in fee (for context, I arrived 2:30PM, check in was 4PM). I understand fully having to pay a late check out fee for cleaning purposes, but an early check in fee when the room is lying ready is just an attempt to extort customers. These practices make me feel a different hotel with more customer friendly policies would have been better (and indeed our next hotel let us check in as our room was ready, at no extra charge). Avoid if you have a choice and anticipate needing accommodations they can charge you for.

The place was perfect with the exception of two things: The bedding wouldn't stay on and would ping off and go wild every night. And the noise was quite bad. Not sure if this was my room but it is near a main street with a fire station etc.,But with earplugs not a problem.

Great central location. Lovely local cafes and a bakery where we had breakfast every morning.

There was a mouse in the room on our last day. Parking was problematic. Both restaurants attached to the property were closed during our stay.

Easy to check-in and check-out, Very good mattress and pillows, good shower, include all facilities refrigerator, caffetier big TV, and stuffs to food and drink.

You need to pay for earlier check-in and to clean the room, and it doesn't have microwave in the room, but it has in the corridor.

Comfortable bed, great location, close to transport, cafes and restaurants. Although most hotels in this chain are unattended, this hotel has a 24/7 reception. It also has a restaurant within the building which was excellent. There is also a coffee shop and patisserie around the corner in Columbus Street.

I received an email a few days prior to my stay stating that I would receive my check in codes 48 hours prior to my arrival time. I did not receive the codes despite assurances that I would. On route to the hotel, I called Sonder and after a very long and anxious wait received the code. So I was very surprised to find the hotel had a 24/7 staffed reception and I did not need a code to enter the building. The shower curtain collapsed one evening but it was fixed the following day.

This was an ideal hotel for a business trip. The room was very small, but had everything I needed - cups, coffee/tea, hangers, iron & ironing board, adequate plugs/charging ports. The room was clean and the king bed was very spacious. Location is ideal as it's a short walk to coffee shops, grocery stores, Target, and other key amenities. Access was seamless, and I enjoyed that there was a restaurant on the ground floor that was convenient for grabbing a quick bite or nightcap at the bar.

Although I am fine with the Sonder model of self service, I was there for a 6 night stay and it would have been nice to have housekeeping come in at least once (without having to pay extra) during my stay. They should consider including one cleaning if you book X amount of nights (5-6 seems reasonable to me). The staff were generally helpful but I did get conflicting info from different front desk people about the luggage storage process. It would be helpful if they gave consistent guidance, as it resulted in a bit of a scramble for me when I was checking out at 4am.

Room size was excellent and very well equipped. Modern and clean.

The bed and pillows! There were 6 pillows on the king size bed but all 6 very large and hard. With so many peoples there shd be a couple at least which are not as hard or high. Only one window and the sound of subway all day…

The hotel is well located n Central Square within easy walking distance of MIT and Harvard and with easy access to public transportation. There are many options for eating nearby. The room was large and very comfortable.

It would be nice to have the front desk manned until later in the evening. A couple of minor needs arose when having someone on site would have helped. For instance, there was a need for more toilet paper after desk hours, and the supply areas on each floor yielded a roll after a search of all 3 floors. A guest should not have to contemplate a trip outside the hotel to a convenience store on a Sunday night for toilet paper. The supply areas were basically empty.

The room was a nice size with a very comfortable king-size bed (firm mattress) and a nook with a curved bench and small table. The bathroom is on the smaller side but clean and functional. Lots of shelving for luggage and clothing, and a coffee maker. The lighting in the room was very cozy. There is no wall to wall carpet, but a rug under the bed. The location could not be better. There are countless restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Our room was on the 4th floor. Above us was the restaurant, and you could hear the chairs scraping on the floor until the restaurant closed at 11pm. It didn't bother us, but we were wondering why the chairs wouldn't have felt pads under the legs to absorb the noise.

This is a wonderful location, a few minutes to Central Square MRT/Subway station, walking distance to Harvard and MIT, and with a lot of great restaurants and supermarkets around. The recommendation of cafe and healthy restaurants in the Sonder App is super helpful. And I especially aprpeciate the discount day pass at the nearby gym.

I with there is harder pillow. All pillows are super soft and made my neck uncomfortable.
