I like this hotel and this was my fourth time staying there. It still has its great vibes, the location is perfect between MIT and the big tech offices and right on the Red T Line. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This was my first time back to this hotel since 2019 and I was sad to learn that the in-house restaurant had closed down. The breakfast used to have a better selection of coffee an pastries, as well as a better coffee machine, and there were free apples all day IIRC. They also used to gift complimentary t-shirts to people staying for long and that sadly had also been discontinued. The elevator was broken for 6 days out of 13 that I stayed there (but the staff were very helpful with the luggage).

This hotel is exceptional in every way. I love staying in historic places and the old firehouse is perfect. The decor is tasteful and detailed. The entire place is spotless. Every corner is cozy and comfy. It’s in an excellent location to access Boston and Cambridge. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This was my second stay and I will definitely be returning for more. Lovely all around.

Located in the heart of Kendall Square on the grounds of an old firehouse--a motif that is used throughout the property. Friendly staff. My room had windows that I could open to let in the night air and a comfortable couch to lounge on with a coffee table in front. I wound up spending a lot of time in my room and in the lobby because they were so welcoming. Great coffee. Breakfast had real food, not just prepackaged muffins. If the startup/hi-tech Kendall Square isn't your cup of tea, it's a nice walk to Central Square or a short subway ride to Harvard Square.

All of the things I mention above come at a price, and it was the same amount I paid to stay at a hipster hotel in NYC. However, unlike the hipster hotel in the city, these guys give you breakfast. I was there on New Year's Eve and it was quiet. I stayed two days recovering from a long road trip and I wish I could have stayed a third.

This hotel is small but really nice. We arrived from Portugal extremely jet lagged and it was nice to have a comfortable bed to sleep in before we started college tours the next morning. This hotel is right next to MIT. The beds are truly queen size with very comfortable linens. The AC worked great. The shower is older but has good pressure. The pillows were all very comfortable. The included breakfast has a good spread of food, including some gluten free items as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Would have been nice if the weekend breakfast started at 6:30 instead of 7.

This hotel was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. It was elegant and quaint with character at the same time. The common areas are lovely and spacious. The breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, all types o hot and cold cereals, Wonderful breads, muffins and fresh fruit. Our room was on the top floor with a extremely comfortable king bed. A lovely sitting area, fridge and microwave and fair size bathroom. It is 3 doors down from the subway and surrounded by MIT. I feel I am not capturing the charm of this hotel properly. It is an absolute gem. I highly recommend it. Very close to restaurants too.

I had absolutely no complaints

Helpful staff, large room/bathroom, very cozy and homely room, very close to the subway. Overall I was very happy and I would stay here again. Lastly, the overall setting/deco of the place with the firefighter theme is very nice.

Breakfast is so-so (American standard), and there is not much room to sit and no proper tables, rather small lounge tables. The room is a bit dark because of the single small window, and there was no good place to hang large coats/suits. Prices, as usual for Boston, are outrageous.

This Boutique Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The room was a bit small but very cozy and the bathroom was awesome with a large comfortable jacuzzi tub. All small details made this an amazing stay. The breakfast was very tasty and a decent variety of foods to choose from. Compared to other hotels in the area which do not offer it, it was perfect! The location is right next to MIT and the metro station (15 min to downtown). I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Boston.

Nothing I can think of.

Lovely old converted building right by the underground line to get into or out of the city. Great decor, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast arrangement - buffet style with lots of options, which you take to a casual seating area where there are coffee, tea and juices. Really friendly, helpful staff. Easy parking and so good we were allowed to leave our car for the day after checking out.

The room was a bit small for two people to move around easily.

Cool vibe as a boutique hotel themed as firehouse. A block away from the red line T stop. Very solid breakfast each morning (way better than the chain hotels), but not extravagant. Comfortable rooms. Hotel staff very responsive to any needs.

Rooms showing their age a bit... we had 2 different rooms as the AC stopped working in one, they upgraded us which was great but TV didn't work in new room and toilet was wobbly. Given the cost, didn't expect that.

We were on the top floor, and next to us was a covered atrium with tables, chairs and internet, that was very nice to sit in and have breakfast. The breakfast was very nice (although I would have liked to have some sort of vegetables). The early check-in payment ($50+tax) was very good, as it also included breakfast on that morning. The location is excellent, as we could walk 5 minutes to the river, and 2 minutes to the subway stations. The whole vibe of the hotel was fun and interesting.

The elevator! It was very slow, both going up and down. We only discovered the atrium by chance. Since part of the bedroom was under the eaves, so the view was non-existent, and part of the ceiling was sloped.
