The room was very clean and the bathroom roomy with a nice big tub/shower. Bathroom also had inlaid led lighting in the large mirror that was not overpowering, which was nice. The closet was nice and big as well with a new iron and ironing board (if needed). The room had its own thermostat and ventilated air/heat, which helped with temperature regulation without a noisy unit under the window. It also had a small push out window (which would be handy if it were summer for a nice breeze). There were stylish, comfortable chairs as well so plenty of seating without having to sit on the bed. There was a good Keurig coffee station included with all the supplies and paper cups, and a glass carafe for water, which could be filled where the ice machine was down the hall-which is better than single use plastics. The room was also quiet, and we did not hear anyone through the walls and only in the hall if they were right outside our door. Bed was very comfortable.

Nothing glaring, but the bathroom did not have a fan so it got very steamy with the shower, and the bathroom faucet seemed too small for the sink basin, which was shaped like a shallow bowl. It was a nice looking design but lacked logical functionality as water easily splashed out onto the counter. The pillows were very soft so had to use two (but that was more a personal preference).

Overall nice ambience with nicely decorated / stylish rooms. Like the commitment to sustainability in having to get water from down the corridor to cut down on single-use plastic.

We were allocated a twin room despite asking for double bed. Then had to go back to reception to ask to swap, and they were available to straight away. However, we don't know why we could not have been allocated the double room in the first place. Breakfast wasn't included but we had the option to pay for it. We checked it out anyway but was a bit meh so we went down the road to have acai bowls instead, which were lovely!

All very comfortable and clean—we were given a 5th-floor room with a nice view. Cambridge location was perfect for our needs. Staff was terrific: warm and welcoming. The feel is slightly chic.

We were traveling by car: the hotel offers parking at a pretty exorbitant extra fee (so we didn't use it). Breakfast too is pricey (so we didn't partake). But altogether not a bad price for the hotel itself considering the Cambridge options.

Super location right near Central Square and a short walk to several key bus routes. Located at MIT, and a nice 20 min walk to Harvard. And Cambridge is so pretty. Hotel is updated and seemed to be managed well. Love the Keurig machine in the room and the water bottle filler near the ice machine.

Upon check-in they charged me for the entire stay up front plus over $200 extra with no explanation, and then the morning of our last day they charged me $260 more. When I asked they said it was a hold on my card for extras and it would be refunded. Wish they said that up front. Breakfast buffet was priced so high it didn't seem worth trying it--go to Brookline Lunch for breakfast instead. Toilet kept running, had to jiggle the handle. No fan in the bathroom to get rid of the steam. Ice machine was broken.

Location and staff are excellent

The enterence door sucks. A large sliding electronic door would be so much easier. Especially when you have two suitcases. Walking through a circular door is nearly impossible. The other door is very hard to push open. The front desk should accept Apple Pay, carrying a wallet around is outdated

Location was good? Air conditioner sucked

I didn’t like the fact that I had a $50 charge on my card for parking that I was unaware of!!!! When I checked in they agent exchanged the card k was given and handed me another card and said this is your pass for the garage it’s gets you in and out unlimited times, handed me the card showed us the elevator and that was it!!! I would have like to know of a charge!!!!

my son-in-law and his dad recommended this hotel since they stayed at the colleges and the graduate schools here for more than 10 years. I agree with them, the location, bus number one to Harvard Square and Red line to the other side of the city etc, that made my travel in Boston comfortable and easier.

sometimes after I went to other school 4 hours, the room was not cleaned. I guess maybe you are running short of hands after Covid 19 pandemic period.

Quiet, comfortable and clean room. Great location. Easy walk to fun restaurants. Comfortable bed. Nicely appointed room. Tasteful decorations with subtle science theme. Tea and coffee in the room, but small creamers would have been better than the powder. Very friendly and professional staff.

The bathroom could really use a fan or some kind of vent.

Staff was very welcoming. We were allowed to keep car in garage until 5 pm check out day, and work at outdoor courtyard that afternoon. Room was spacious, with nice big windows for light, and bed was very comfortable. Location was great to access all that is in Cambridge and across the river. The price was quite reasonable, but has varied when I checked other times, so that may be the determinant of when I next stay. But, it will be the first hotel I check on when I make plans for my next trip to Cambridge.

It was very comfortable, they had a couple wheelchairs for use (I had had surgery), and Nancy at the front desk bent over backwards to make sure I could get in my room early after I left the hospital. She was a gem!

It was pretty expensive - I tried to get an additional night before as my surgery time had been moved up, but they wanted to charge me $750 for the same room I was paying $350 for!
