Great location, very handy to walk all around the Beacon Hill area and just across the road from the red line transit station for exploring further afield. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very comfortable and extremely quiet as it faced the courtyard. We didn’t have breakfast here. The bar was a little pricey but then so is Boston!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The facility was clean, modern, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay extra comfortable. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional staff—every team member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The location couldn’t be better—convenient to local attractions, dining, and public transportation. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be returning!
The only downside was that we occasionally heard sirens from the street, likely due to the hotel’s central location. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to be aware of if you’re a very very light sleeper.

This is a classy establishment; with very contemporary design, while preserving heritage details. Small details that won me over is how the hotel incorporates local products: from bathroom amenities to complementary candies. The location in Beacon Hill is unbeatable: close to public transport, but also allowing to explore the area on foot. Great service too, would highly recommend pampering yourself by staying here on your visit to Boston.
While acknowledging excellent sound-proofing towards the exterior (which is very important because the hotel is next to a busy road), this was not the case inside, at least not for the rooms on the souterrain floor: the nearby service doors are relatively loud, and the ceilings creaky.

Located on Charles Street where it joins Cambridge St, this hotel is the heart of Beacon Hill. Interiors are modern clean, crisp monochrome with alluring collection of art and artefacts for the senses. Great efforts are made from front of house to guest suites to be sustainable and it really enhances the guest impression. The bathroom potions and lotions are a delight for the senses and promote calm and relaxation…bergamot, oud, pink pepper, amber. Amongst the fresh soft luxurious monogramed fluffy white robes and towels are cloths for makeup removal - smart! Room temperature is adjustable and the air quality was superb. Amongst the most comfortable super king bed I’ve slept in, mattress, pillows and linens are all 100% natural and the Egyptian cotton linen is supreme. The Whitney exudes calm sophistication brought through to the pre check in experience by Carol and carried through by James to front of house concierge upon arrival. James looked after our itinerary, reservations, ferry travel options and chauffeur services both for ourselves and visiting guests. This duo are another level delivering the finest exclusive guest experience you’ll find anywhere in the world. Their recommendations made our trip and we are grateful for their kindness to ensure our stay exceeded all our expectations. they bring the wow to the Whitney and the guest experience.
That we had to leave!! We loved the hotel and the guest experience. Everyone should have a James in their life!

the perfect hotel. I visited Boston several times; this is my go-to hotel now. I spent a wonderful 4 nights here. the facility is beautiful, the room spacious, the bed is great and the whole hotel is beautiful. but above all - the staff is super professional and friendly, with the best attitude of helping and making your stay perfect. they are all great and I would like to specifically thank Jacqueline, who helped us resolve some serious issues with our stay in Boston (caused by my mistake regarding the dates of my flight...). can't thank her enough

It is a beautiful hotel with great staff and service. It's in a convenient location for getting around Boston. I would stay here again.
Our room was on the street and I could hear the traffic at peak times. I would request an internal room next time. The car parking was costly and because we had a large car a premium was added so we decided to park elsewhere. There was nowhere out the front to park when we arrived and it was pouring rain. There were four of us with luggage and we found this quite annoying. The concierge should keep the valet area free for people checking in. The car park was full so they parked cars in the valet area. They did try to assist however if felt unprofessional.

We stayed for 4 night and is was exceptional. We had a king room overlooking the river. The room was large, spotless and very comfy. The bed was enormous and the room was really quiet. A bottle of water in the room each night was lovely. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always smiling. The location was perfect being in a quiet area but within walking distance of most attractions and a good selection of restaurants. The river being across the road was an added bonus as it was a lovely area for a peaceful walk around.
The only niggle I have is that we booked a Charles view studio king room and my parents booked a classic king room but both rooms seemed to be the same - bit unfair when we paid a few hundred dollars more! Having said that, I would highly recommend this hotel and it will be my first choice when we next visit Boston!

The attention to detail was outstanding. From plugs/USBs in the most convenient places to the little light in the wardrobe. I found myself always thinking “I really need…” and suddenly there it was! Facilities and amenities were exceptional including bathroom soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion and facial wipes - everything you could possibly need, service was friendly but not over bearing. The bed was insanely comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious, I especially loved the bath robes!
Nothing!

Great location and great hotel. Perfect and impeccable service. The hotel has modern design, comfortable bed, tea and coffee machine in the room. Beautiful sheets and good bath products. It is possible to eat breakfast at extra cost at the restaurant (about 20$). The neighborhood is cost with a pharmacy and convenience store just outside of the hotel. Shops, restaurants and coffees are around the corner. Walking distance to a park and a shopping district. It is just a few steps from a riverside park where it is possible to run.

Good location. Good room with a good bed. Front desk staff is very good, professional and friendly. Location is great.
The room has only one big chair. I recommend to have at least two chairs in a room meant for two people. The day I stayed in the lounge (my wife had a video call in the room) they were photographing plates of food in the lounge. Every few minutes a flash light which was annoying to me. They could not offer me another space to sit where I would not be bothered. Gym is very small.
