Our favorite part hands-down was the beautiful river view that we had right from our room, even on the first floor. The view is absolutely amazing, we will definitely be going back to rent a second floor room next. There’s a pub right next door which is convenient, not too pricey, and pretty good. The hotel rooms were clean, along with the halls and common areas. There is a nice little playground outside the pool area which was nice.

Can’t think of anything off the top of my head. The only “issue” I noticed was ONE pool chair falling apart but there was PLENTY others that were good.

Room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Staff was friendly and checking in/out was a breeze. Free coffee/tea in the lobby which was great. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice that they had a gazebo and benches to enjoy the river views.

Couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work the first night. Ended up asking the front desk - had something to do with everything needing to be unplugged and then plugged back in. So if the TV says no network, try that. The pool was supposed to be heated but it wasn't. But it was nice to have the pool option and it was clean.

From the moment I arrived, I loved it. The staff was great. Rooms were clean and spacious with a microwave, coffee maker, fridge, plenty of towels and pillows. The pool was beautiful and indoor with no walking outdoors to access. I stayed here for an event in Newport. It was a 45 minute drive to Newport but from talking to other people staying in Newport, I assure you this was the better deal!! They were paying at least three times more for way less. There was even a restaurant in the same parking lot. I did not go there but I think it may be only lunch and dinner. The heater / ac worked exceptionally well. I only used the heater to dry some clothes but there is a washer/dryer on premises too.

Price, location and a good pub next door. Good views and friendly, considerate staff. Bananas and tangerines and apples usually provided in the morning. Heated pool, new fitness center and great Samsung Plus channels if you like top notch movies.

Not big on one ply toilet paper---though environmentally sound. They didn't roll out the red carpet for such a cool dude like me. No breakfast in bed or masseuse or Belgian Chocolate or Chilled Champagne in my room. No sauna or wet bar and no, can you believe it late night Lee River cruises.

Very clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Great location. Reasonably priced. Swimming Pool is a great feature and the rooms are sound-proof. The grounds and parking lots are safe and secured. Conveniently located beside a awesome Sports Bar, gas stations, liquor store, restaurants, etc. Short distances to main attractions and points of interest. Melissa (Front Desk Attendant) is very friendly, kind and professional. Ana (Cleaning Staff) is also very friendly and pleasant. She will keep your room very clean. I will definitely return and RECOMMEND this hotel.

Great price, great bed, right off the highway. Very helpful staff. A bit worn, but upgraded bathroom. A good value for the Newport area. Fantastic for traveling on the cheap.

Bring your own towels if you need BIG THICK ones. Or just ask for a MORE. They are very accomodating, really.

Comfortable , clean room. Plenty of towels. Old people accessible for us which was ok. Tv was updated. Room was updated. This used to be a Howard Johnsons back in the day!

We were a late arrival and the price was increased $20. Total was $200.So the room was a little pricey. Mostly, fruit for breakfast on the run. I guess ok on that.

Convenient Location and having Jillian's Sports Pub/ Restaurant next door made my stay perfect. Make sure to book the river side as the views of the Lees River and access to the field and river are outside your door. There is a liquor store across the street and a food mart just down the road. The house keeping staff is also A+: Friendly and responsive.

The room was fine for us. The shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfortable.

On our second morning there, the fire alarm went off at 530 am and did not shut off until 630 am. This was frustrating being so early in the morning and interrupting our sleep.

The staff was amazing! Changed our trash and towels daily! Pool was nice, a little hot if you were just sitting there. But the kids enjoyed it! Loved that they had a little playground and a basketball hoop! Close to lots of restaurants and stores.
