The room was very comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small. The shower worked great, but we had a little trouble with the soap dispenser, that the owners were happy to fix. There is also a kitchen that is open 24/7 that has a coffee maker, a refrigerator and dishes, which is great for snacking and late night snacks. The pool was heated and very clean and the fire pit in the yard was full of wood and available every night for outdoor get togethers.

We are big baseball fans and it would have been nice to have MLB available on the TV.

The motel grounds are stunning and immaculate - just like much of the perfectly manicured Cape Cod area in which it is located. The pool was clean and also quite deep at one end (which you could rope off, if your kids are less confident in the water). But for our kids, this gave them so much joy, diving down to retrieve items from the bottom. The room was clean, with lots of plug sockets, and one of the other motel rooms had been turned into a guest kitchen, with free coffee all day, and facilities to cook and wash-up should you need them. The staff were also very friendly, offering lots of tips and hints for good places to visit locally. The fish and chip shop right next door was one of them - and it didn't disappoint.

If I had to find something negative to say, then I guess the room was a tiny bit tight for a family of 4 people (and all our attendant luggage).

The central location worked well for us as a base to visit various spots all over the Cape, and we needed a place that is pet friendly. We appreciated that it is on the more affordable side of the price spectrum.

Several of the gripper strips on the bottom of the bathtub were missing, making the tub very slippery. We had to be very careful when taking a shower. There is no fan for the bathroom, allowing it to steam up quickly and profoundly. The curtain for the front window does not block out all light and the front porch light is wired to stay on all night. This means quite a bit of light got into the room all night and was disturbing when trying to sleep.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like part of the family. The location is convenient and close to the beaches. The rooms are updated and beautifully decorated.The grounds are spacious, with picnic tables and games to entertain. They even have a fire pit to gather around each evening. We were also pleasantly surprised that the pool was actually warm! Perfect for an evening swim. We will definitely be back!

Loved having a dedicated kitchen room where I could make coffee. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to make your own meals. Large fridge too The grounds are pretty with a large lawn, oversized lawn chess, hammocks, pool and a fire pit, grills

Regulation of AC in the room.I had to set it pretty low to have it kick on and then it wouldn’t come back on during the night. I found the mattress to be too firm. Would love a memory foam topper as I have arthritis and I couldn’t stay comfortable

The manager Karen was very friendly. She responded to my request to change room immediately and gave me a nicer room than the one I reserved. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is a well-equipped kitchen for all guests to use, which was a pleasant surprise to me. The property includes outdoor sitting areas with a fire pit. My husband and I enjoyed the fire started by a staff and had a good chat with him. Overall, it was a very enjoyable 2-night stay there.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Starlight Lodge. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Being there in the off-season, we didn't partake of their amenities, such as the outdoor fire pit, but the grounds were well kept and it looked like an enjoyable space. We would highly recommend them and would stay with them again.

This property was dog friendly, lots of area to walk around. Owners are super nice. Property is wall maintained. Pool is awesome and they have a kitchenette if you want to prepare meals. They offer a shuttle for a small fee to the nearby beaches, much less that the parking fees at the beach. Would recommend this property and stay there again.

The location was great. The BEST part is the shuttle they provide to the Dennis beaches - such an awesome perk! I think it was $15 and we hopped in the van, just us, with our chairs, cooler and bags, and I think just needed 10min notice. It was AWESOME. Also, the property was very well maintained. We didn't use the pool but played cards in the "hang-out" area that had lots of adirondack chairs and picnic tables.

We stayed in a queen room and it was small but we booked last minute and didn't really care. The owner said it was the smallest room type that all other rooms were bigger. Window unit A/C which was a little noisy but we really weren't in room other than sleeping so didn't matter much.

The location was great. The lodge is in the middle of Cape Cod, so it was not a long drive to all the recommended spots such as Chatham, P Town, Hyannis. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. She basically planned our weekend trip.

The GPS to the lodge was a little off. Otherwise, all was good.
