BREAKFAST WAS GOOD ALONG WITH THE COFFEE. THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY CHECK IN AS BOOKING NEVER SENT OVET THE CHANGED DATES, BUT THE FRONT DESK..I THINK HER NAME WAS MELISSA, WAS ALL OVER IT TRYING TO HELP GET ME CHECK IN PROMPTLY. CALLED HER BOSS, REVIEWED THE MANUAL FOR EXTERNAL BOOKING AND IT WAS ON BOOKING.COM'S SIDE OF THINGS. I WAS ON HOLD WITH THEM WHILE SHE WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT MY ISSUE ON THE BACKEND. ALL THINGS WERE TAKEN CARE OF AND I WAS ABLE TO CHECK IN AFTER ABOUT 23 MIN AFTER ARRICAL

TEH COST WAS ALITTLE MORE THAN EXPECTED AND OTHER SURROUNDING HOTELS

The breakfast was decent, much like every other hotel breakfast though. Nothing exceptional. The bedding was excellent, the mattresses were kind of meh as far as comfort. The pool was nice and it was great to have an hot tub, though one side of the jets were not working. The hotel itself was very clean and smelled nice and the staff was very friendly and that is a big plus in my book!

Very clean, beds and pillows are super comfortable, loved the fact there was shampoo/ conditioner and body wash were Dove, and finally the breakfast was really good and super clutch!

I was placed on hold for quite a while when I called front desk to inquire on something, but they were probably busy of course. Other than that everything went smoothly.

Clean and perfect location.

Just a bit disappointed as the standard king room we had, the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. Wasn’t completely clogged, but held water and went down slowly. The same experience in Oct when we stayed there our sink in our room had same issue. Our son was with and cleared the drain and took care of it. Just needs monthly maintenance to make sure that is addressed.

the evening staff is exceptional. A man working evening shift was superb. The lady who works nights at the Reception was excellent.

converting to IHG points was impossible, as I booked over Booking dot Com, and that did not allow me to get IHG points. What a disappointment of IHG loyalty program (not Holiday Inn problem)

Very nice hotel. Everything was great with one exception noted below.

The TV system needs a revamp. The channel selection was pretty good. It had all the news channels and major networks. My complaint: the channel guide wasn't operational. There was no way to tell what was currently on or coming on later. The desk clerk said it was in the works. I'm hoping it happens in the next year as I will stay again when I am in the area.

This might sound weird, but it's very convenient that a "Grand Traverse Pie Company" store is in the near by strip Mall. And although I haven't taken advantage of it yet, Metzger's restaurant is in the same strip mall.

The main access driveway from Zeeb road does not have any visible signage, so it is impossible find it at night.

The room was wonderful. Beautiful, great bed and mattress, no horrible lights on the clock or TV, great desk and fantastic office chair. Perfect temperature. Friendly and competent reception. Quiet. Perfect location for me. The wifi worked fine.

Breakfast was negligible. There should be a sign in the room about checkout time and the hours for breakfast. One night, a fire alarm went off at around 6am. There was no fire. The shower created a puddle on the bathroom floor, but it was easily absorbed by the extra towels.

Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The front desk staff let us know about all the amenities along with breakfast times which was very helpful. She said if we need anything just call. Very hospitable.

Nothing that we did not like - the breakfast was not the best - oatmeal was abit tasteless - cheese omlette was a little rubbery and the pancakes were so so but the machine that made them was neat. On the upside the hot chocolate and coffee were great. There was an abundance of everything - no shortage of options - great choices from hot items, cereal, bagels, pastries, muffins, etc.

The staff was friendly and there were many breakfast options.

The beds weren't as comfortable as hoped but still not terrible, and other customers were loud in the hallways late at night and stomping around in the room above us (has nothing to do with the place itself)
