The room was clean, which is a huge plus! Did not feel that I had to sanitize parts of the room. There was a refrigerator (a little hard to open because of the tile floor making it slip). Bathroom was also clean. Elevators, common areas, and hallways were tidy.

Pillows could have been firmer because it was difficult to sleep comfortably when you sank into the mattress with two pillows doubled. There was also no water available at breakfast and I had to buy water to take my medication. Breakfast was also closed early on 4/13 by 4 minutes (closes at 10 AM on weekends), so I had to rush and take my bagel out of the toaster. The worker made the announcement and locked up at the same time without a last call. The hotel also had no access to a bottle opener so I could open my soda drink.

First and foremost we were greeted by the most accommodating, kind front desk clerk, William. We had a little mix up with Booking.com, but William went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Despite the confusion he remained calm and exceptionally cheerful and we sincerely appreciated that after a long day of driving. The property was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure and temperature we perfect. Also shout out to Semone in the breakfast bar. She hustled making sure every guest had what they needed and was also very, very cheerful and kind. Would recommend 100%.

The staff at the desk were very friendly. There was a problem with their computer system, which caused a slight delay for our check in and they offered a water and a soft drink for the inconvenience.

We stayed two nights and on the first morning, we arrived toward the end of breakfast, but it was still within the posted time and there was not much food left. We were able to get something, so not a huge issue. The second morning there was plenty of food.

They remodeled since my pervious stay> Now it's very appealing and they added a meeting room which is also used at breakfast.. Breakfast was good.

The floor of the wheelchair accesible bathroom gets very wet when you use the shower. The floor turns slippery and the rug provided is not enough to contain the water from the shower. I do not know if the design can be improved or if its necessary to provide two or three rugs.

The hotel was pretty clean and with decent breakfast. The location was perfect for us as we were passing though an didn't want to drive through the city. There is an amazing local brewery nearby (10 min walking) which was an amazing stop for us after our dinner. Costco is nearby as well, and a lot of restaurants and shops. Overall pretty happy with the stay.

We were five people (3 adults and 2 kids) and only got 4 towels even though we paid for 5 people. Not a big deal, but something for the hotel management to consider next time.

Comfy bed , very clean

A bit too pricy, parking especially late in the evening was a pain people had parked on two spaces or had parked horizontal, leaving no room for others who needed a spot and management did nothing about it. After all, I ‘paid’ for a room and parking as well that’s why I chose this hotel in the first place Also, on the last day there I had a ‘do not disturb’ sign hanging on the door and the cleaning lady still knocked on the door at like 8 am waking me up! I was really mad!

We had handicap room which was located down the hall furthest from elevator. Who does that to handicap people? & bed was way to HIGH that I couldn’t get into or out of bed by myself. That needs to be addressed immediately by facility to have a much lower bed. Shower ceiling needs repaired immediately & broken tile on floor needs repaired immediately. Room large enough BUT bed height the worst.

The bed was so comfortable. I wanted to take it home. Breakfast was great. The staff were amazing.

The room was not cleaned correctly. My fiance found erectile spray meds and crunchy tissues and a towel on top of the cabinet. It was so gross 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 swimming pool tasted like complete salt and had a bandaid and chewing gum at the bottom and was freezing.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites—Ann Arbor offers a comfortable stay near the 94 Freeway, a short drive to the University of Michigan and downtown Ann Arbor. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. Free parking is available at the property, a valuable perk given the limited options in downtown Ann Arbor. It's a nice new hotel.
