My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hampton. Our Concierge was terrific and very helpful to us. She went above and beyond what was expected of her and we appreciated that. The place was full of people yet quiet, and we were able to get a sound sleep, which did not occur at a different hotel that we stayed at recently, so we were very pleased with that. The next morning when we were getting ready to check out we met the other staff getting started with their day and they were all very friendly and congenial. It had also snowed the night of our stay and when we awoke the next morning the parking lot and walks has already been cleared and safe. We will definitely come back on our next visit to this beautiful city.

Juice, coffee, muffins and bagels were enjoyed All staff were friendly and polite - there were a lot of guests this weekend, with UM move in, weddings, and a water polo team. Throughout our stay, all staff were friendly and polite. Three in my family group were visually impaired - one with a guide dog - I was impressed at the way the staff, as we moved through the lobby and entered/left the elevator area, they always stayed to the side of the hallway and made sure my sisters had plenty of space to walk. Actually, as I think about it, we have never experienced this anywhere before. Their courtesy was very much appreciated!

Wish there were more yogurt flavors, and was disappointed that the only fruit available was bananas

Clean facility Kenyatta was excellent she was very friendly and helpful. The front desk young lady on day shift was also excellent - the young man from Mississippi was also excellent - quick to troubleshoot AC unit and very personable and friendly - well done Hampton - you hired some really good staff and I couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Good Customer service is hard to find these days and this site was exemplar!!!

I had to make two reservations as they couldn't add a second night to my original reservation. No problem. I didn't have to move my bags or anything. They manually moved me from one reservation to another with no problem. Breakfast buffet was well equipped with a wide selection of food. Room was clean and neat and everything worked. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

The room was super clean (and I'm a clean freak), the staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the free breakfast. They even gave us a little "to go" bag with an apple, bagel and water!

The carpet in the hallways was buckled up and kind of dangerous to walk on....a real trip hazard

Good location. Walking distance to State street (depends who you ask). Had ample free parking. The breakfast was fabulous (did have issues refilling dishes towards the end - so go by 8.45). The waffles were the best!!!! And they had sugar free options for the syrups etc! Key point - had ample plug points to cover all 4 sleeping postions not really something u find all the time!

Your $75 pet fee is too high. $25 is more reasonable and on par with other hotels. This will prevent us from booking in the future if other decent options are available.

Had four rooms booked for a wedding and had to talk to Jose the manager about confusion of adding another night. Jose was extremely helpful and took care of us so we could concentrate on our festivities. He was a gem! Thank you.

We were coming off of a 6 hour drive. All we wanted was a good hot shower, a clean room and comfortable beds. we got them all and then some. The desk staff were extremely friendly. I needed a bowl for the cereal I was going to have for supper. The clerk whisked a disposable bowl out of the breakfast room, with a smile. The fridge in the room was handy. I was too tired to experience the breakfast, but hubby said it was ok. We’ve stayed in ‘fancier’ hotels on that strip….they weren’t worth the hype compared to what we got at the Hampton.

I don’t like that you significantly jack the prices up for Michigan game weekends. Heck, I paid the same price for your room that I did for a Premium room with a jacuzzi and fireplace on the 23rd floor of the Marriott overlooking Niagara Falls! With a mind-blowing view! So tell me you’re not raping the consumer?!?!
