We enjoyed the breakfast every a.m. as it had a nice variety. The service we received at the breakfast from Erika was exceptionally good. She asked every a.m. how we slept, if everything was to our liking, and she always made decaf coffee for my husband. On Sunday it was very busy, and I didn't go into ask her to make the decaf. She saw us and made it and brought it to our table. We stay at Ann Arbor Regent every year when we come out for our grandchildren's graduations, 1st Communions, Confirmations, etc. and we've never been disappointed. I recommend them to anyone who is planning a trip to AnnArbor.

Where do I start. We arrived an hour after check-in and was greeted with a smile and welcoming. As we entered our room we were hit with a beautiful room, set more like a feel like home room. The room smelled fresh and was very clean. The bathroom, I loved that they place make-up removers in each room. Came in handy for me. Loved the shampoo/conditioner stationed in the shower. Provided more of each this way. The breakfast was an abundance of food, many different options. So good! I took mine back to my room to eat. The grounds were beautiful. Every window opened a view of a well kept lawn and flowers.
The ONLY thing that needed attention was the ice machine on the main floor. Not a problem as another was next floor up.

Already my second time in this hotel in one year and I really recommend it - Very clean rooms - Quite comfortable to be, with plastic cutleries and plates are available all day long in breakfast area in case you order food. Also free coffee is available all day long. There are vending machines to get water and soda as well. - Free breakfast is very nice, it has warm things like egg and cheese - Good location, walking distance to a few restaurants around the hotel. Close to bus stop to the center - Ambience is nice, it has a character with the gazebo, pool table, and overall interior architecture
- Isolation between rooms are are not the best - Rooms are a bit old and need an update, however they fit the character and architecture of the hotel and overall it feels cute to be in

The entire hotel is very clean as I am OCD about that sort of thing and the staff are extremely exceptional. Walking through the corridor, we were always greeted by one of their friendly employees and the concierge is very professional. Everyone seemed happy to be there which makes for a comfortable stay.
The walls could be better soundproofed. My wife and I did not get much sleep last night as a result of people running back and forth through the hallways till 1:00am to no fault of their own as I am a light sleeper and every sound to me was like a herd of elephants tromping through.

Breakfast was great. The pool and hot tub were clean. Good location with lots of food choices nearby. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean. Bedding is very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Enjoyed having a game room with pool and foosball.
The first night, there was a large group that was loud and not watching their kids. Also, eating and drinking right next to the pool. Wish the staff would have done something so other guests could enjoy pool room also. The beds were very soft but comfortable. The tvs should be a lot bigger than 32 inches.

Location, cleanliness, breakfast, size of rooms, nice TV, walk-in shower in the high accessible room, fridge, microwave, wifi, pool, exercise rm, all in newish & good condition except…
We had two adjacent rms ( special credit for this on 1 d notice), including the wheelchair access room. But the window queen bed in the access room noticeably tilts left-right, ( and sags) and the family member with a health condition felt he might roll out. This bed and/or mattress needs replacing; heat lamp in BR did not work; and the door was TOO heavy (much heavier than adjacent door!) and could not be safely navigated by person with a walker. OW staff was responsive, breakfast great, room location on ground floor near entry, could hardly be improved upon.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially loved the garden area with outdoor seating—it was the perfect spot to enjoy my complimentary morning coffee. If we return to Ann Arbor, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!
The location is a bit out of the way if you're not traveling by car. We relied on Uber, which meant some waiting time and added transportation costs.

Ann Arbor Regent was an excellent hotel. It was very convenient to access from the highway and still close enough to downtown to go enjoy the nightlife. The facility was really clean and the staff was very nice and pleasant. I didn't use the indoor pool and hot tub but I certainly will next time I visit Ann Arbor. The room I had was big enough and quiet enough and the beds were super-comfortable.
I was there on a weekend and the breakfast area was a little crowded but there was plenty of food and coffee. It's hard to complain but if there was one part that was less spectacular than the rest then this was it.

The retro feel to the hotel made it feel home-like and comfy. As far as hotel staff at check in and check out, they were quite nice and the rooms were clean which is a plus. If I'm in the area again I'd def stay again. Clean, quiet, comfy and affordable. That's all a simple girl needs.
The coffee in the lobby. I took one sip and couldn't drink the rest but for the price of the hotel, I wasn't expecting much. The lights in the room were bright and it would've been better to have a dim lighting option since I get migraines with bright artificial lights.

We like this hotel a lot, convenient location, nice rooms and amenities. This was a return stay for us, and we will definitely return.
We had a 3 night stay and there was no attempt by cleaning services to clean our room, take our trash or replace our towels. I understand on a 1 or even a 2 night stay but cleaning services should be completed on a 3 or more night stay. I would have given a 10/excellent review if our room had been serviced or we had been offered clean towels.
