The location is really close to all of the places we wanted to go. Very convenient. The day staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, as are the rooms.

The breakfast was ok. The overnight staff was rude. When we came back around 11:00-11:30, the night staff was visibly annoyed that we banged on the doors to let us in because we couldn't get in. He never even spoke to us. He hit the button to let us in and turned around and walked away. It's says there's a bar, but it's not what you think. It's a small counter randomly placed on the backside of the front desk with some alcohol and a TV hanging behind it. The front desk staff has to come back and act as bartender. The gym didn't have any water, towels, or sanitizing wipes to wipe down the equipment.

Only issue we had was the 6th floor is not a pet friendly floor (first floor is the only floor); however, a guest decided that they were privileged and didn't have to abid by the rules and brought two dogs ((we think through another entrance. Luckily we only heard them barking once during the day but weren't sure what room they were in. We told the front desk. They had someone go up to the floor but didn't hear anything so were unable to identify the room/guest. The day we were leaving when I left our room and looked out the door I saw a gray-haired man with two dogs by the elevator. The two large dogs were quiet overall but there's a reason a hotel designates a pet friendly floor since many guest are allergic to dogs/cats. Very inconsiderate.

I loved the location of the hotel, lots of options for food relatively close by. The staff was kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and promptly refilled when necessary. The room was large and clean, for the most part.

There was a slight ring around the bathtub. Also, the body was was empty as was the tissue. I brought my own so it was OK, but for guests that didn't, that would be a hassle to wait to housekeeping to replenish.

The staff at Hyatt Place Detroit/Livonia is truly its greatest asset. Annette went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, allowing us to check in earlier than scheduled. I am very grateful for her exceptional service.

I couldn't sleep until the early hours of the morning because there was a terrible smell throughout the night, which I believe was due to people smoking. That was quite disappointing.

I thought my card was preauthorized but when I got to the hotel it was declined. It has about $500 on the card however I had to declare identity theft after my info was leaked so my accounts are frozen. Sadly my apartment has a gas leak and I was told to vacate but I have nowhere to stay and really just wanted a shower. I was told I'd be reimbursed but I cannot get access to my money to put up until either Consumers Energy or my renters insurance completes my claim. So I'm home with no gas still, 8 days later. At least tonight is warmer than the freezing rain the other night. But the hotel is great. Very clean and super professional front desk clerk. I was hoping to clean up before court but it's too cold to shower in freezing cold water. Maybe I'll come back as soon as I get my taxes any day now. Nothing is the hotels fault.

I have no complaints about the Hyatt. I love the air in the hotel, it reminds me of Aria in Vegas.

Cleanliness of rooms, room size, and modern rooms.

The entrance and elevator was dirty, trash on the floor. The receptionist was on break continueously. Someone had to continue to get her from the break room to great guest, including myself who needed to check in. Guest were waiting in line for towels and directions on how to purchase snacks

My main thing is if the room is clean n the property clean. I have kids so we all know they touch everything so I needed a safe n clean place for my kids to enjoy there stay .. I can say it was perfect… I would definitely recommend it… Breakfast was Great!

Annett and her staff were very professional, they did a great job with all of our needs. we stayed for 9 days and it was very nice. We would stay ther again.

breakfast could have been a little better, waffel machine maybe? coffee all morning in the lobby?

Staff were very friendly and nice. Beds and rooms were comfortable

Bfast was just ok. Also there was a bowl of eggs and when they were gone, no more was made. Basically it seemed like they made a batch and when it was gone, that’s all there was.

Friendly staff, clean, love the hot chocolate station at the entrance.

Breakfast was not good.
