The property was conveniently located to the University of MN. The facility was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman overseeing breakfast (which was a nice perk) . The room we stayed in had a queen bed in a room separate from a space with a pullout bed and a desk. This worked perfectly for us as it allowed my husband and I to sleep while our daughter stayed up later working before retiring to the pullout.

It would have been nice if we didn’t have to pay $50 to park overnight

I could not believe how much space there was to bring my laptop to the lobby and work, uninterrupted. The gym was phenomenal, had so many options, just as many as my fitness center back at home! The breakfast was delicious, clean and had all the options that anyone would want. I was thoroughly impressed by the staff, saying Good Morning and how is your stay, do you need anything, just going above and beyond! I don't normally stay downtown but I will FOR SURE be back to this gem of a hotel!

My Experience at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton Downtown Minneapolis was a mixture of mostly great. First and foremost, George on the hotel day shift staff consistently out did himself with his dedication to everyone for the free breakfast service. George also has an extensive knowledge of the area and was so friendly and helpful. The accommodations and location were unbelievable. Fifteen minute walk to US Bank Stadium and Target Field. The only issue was the evening and overnight staff were little to nonexistent. On two occasions it took fifteen minutes to contact anyone. Then Saturday night we ended up having a on call electrician open the storage room to get a blanket for the pull out couch. With that being said, the great outweighed the not so good. I will definitely be back.

At the breakfast there was option lactose free

The fact that they didn’t give me any receipt about the security deposit that costed me as much as the stay. I requested them several times, and the only thing I had left was their word. I spent 3 days monitoring my credit card bill to see how much the hotel was going to charge me. At the end, they didn’t charge me any extra money. It was a tense situation.

I Liked that they have breakfast and it was clean

First of all I didn’t like that I ask for a room with a better also ask for a kitchen in the kitchen but they didn’t have a stove top also I didn’t like that they charge me $100 deposit a day every time I book extra stay and then charge me a no show fee even when I stay during my booking time. One incident I didn’t show up that day and they had bagged all my things up but didn’t clean up the room this happened to me twice and it wouldn’t let me pay for other days they had all my things downstairs in a bag like I was a bum and then when I looked on my credit card my charges was not put on my account right I’m going Bell palsy’s at the moment so I couldn’t really talk I just want somewhere to stay away from people because I was insecure of my face being paralyzed on one side

The staff and valet were great.

The bathroom had a Bobby pin on the floor leftover from the previous guests and the hand soap dispenser was empty. The breakfast area never had any yogurt, or bakery items during the half hour we were down there. The pool table area was a mess with broken chalk on the floor. I thought I was getting two queen beds not one queen and a pull out couch. I also thought that there was a pool she. I reserved, which could’ve been my mistake. It seemed very short staffed.

The staff was very helpful. Overall the facilities were good.

First room we had the tv did not work, the thermostat was not functioning, and there was no phone in the room. Fortunately the staff was very understanding and moved us to another room. The exit to the hotel where you valet park was littered with cigarette butts. It was filthy. Not a good look for the hotel.

The Hotel is remarkably outstanding. The Breakfast was excellent. In my opinion everything is on point. I will definitely stay in this Hotel again and again in my next trip to Minneapolis. Kudos to the staff and management of this Hotel.

I had no problem with this Hotel. I had no issues whatsoever. Overall, I did not see nor encounter any difficulties nor problems with the facilities. I was satisfied with everything there.

Room was awesome, breakfast was good, and staff was amazing! Location was great considering we were there for the Vikings vs. Packers game.

The only issue I had is both my towels and the washcloths had black hairs on them. Was not too pleased with that.

I interacted with 3 employees employees and all were exceptionally accommodating & congenial. Location conveniently close to downtown activities.

The first room we were given had a blackout shade stuck in the down position. We were moved to another room where everything was in working condition. Both rooms smelled strongly of insecticide spray. The odor dissipated over the four days we stayed there.
