We stayed here for 3 days during part of our New England trip for our Honeymoon. The Inn is very quaint and comfy with a very rustic historic charm. You can definitely feel the history while staying here and know that is has been very well preserved and well kept and loved. Our room overlooked the Saco River, which was beautiful. We had a loft in our room with extra beds which just added to the charm. The breakfasts were wonderful as were all the staff who made sure we had everything we needed. There were fresh cookies, coffee, lemonade, and water every eveing. We did not get to try the dinners, but judging on the breakfasts, I can only assume, they are great as well. There is an onsite laundry facility, exercise room, sauna, and hot tub. So all all amenities are there, it's just a slowed down pace as I stared. This place is a very large Inn and you will be amazed at just a large it is. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you are looking for all the amenities of a fast past hotel but want the slow pace of a historical site. It was a great stay! Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately the ice machine was not working during our stay, but they were working to get it fixed. The only microwave is down stairs in the lobby, but again that adds to the old world charm.

We stayed in one of the family cabins. It was super cozy with the gas stove going when we got there. It had everything we needed and was beautiful overlooking the Saco River. It had a queen bed and day bed with trundle which was perfect for our two kids. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after a day in the snow!

It didn't have a smart T.V. so we weren't able to access any streaming services. I also think the window coverings could be updated. The queen mattress had some sag in the middle and could be updated. The dry sauna never really warmed up enough.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, Breakfast was amazing along with afternoon cookie time.. It's pretty simply quintessential down home NH, my room was lovely and clean and I felt safe. There are lots of family amenities And great access to the Saco River ..location is great its just enough outside of the buziness of downtown N Conway..I enjoyed my stay there and will be returning

Sorry to say there were guests with bigger dogs off the leash at river access barking and being territorial at me..I chose to turn around and go back later not the farm's fault But the dog owners who did nothing to abate the problem. But that seriously was my only issue.. Note: I like dogs but not mean ones.

The room was very spacious with three queen beds, which you normally don't find in almost any hotel room. Breakfast was order off the menu which was good, no fighting over some buffet style breakfast. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having the kids sleeping up on the loft. Parking was super convenient and the grounds were very nice with lots to do on site.

The hotel feels abit old, but has the charm on an older building and not just a sterile, modern design like a Home2 or some other cookie cutter hotel.

It is a comfortable inn with plenty of common space to do a quick call or zoom away from your family. The pool is a nice amenity along with access to the river. It's proximity to town is fantastic. We also very much much enjoyed breakfast. Staff at breakfast and at front desk is super helpful and friendly. The coffee and cookie station is a nice touch too. The inn is a big hit with the kids.

Not all the jets are working on the hot tub. Also, part of our room could not be used due to lack of lighting. The room we stayed in could use a little more light. Don't get me wrong, we would stay here again, but would adjust accordingly.

The staff was warm, friendly, personable, and accommodating. The Inn was rustic, homey, and charming. There were nooks for reading and relaxing, comfy loft rooms, a theater, seasoned pianos everywhere, access to the river, homemade cookies every afternoon.

Some of the areas seemed like they needed a little TLC.

The place is nice and clean. The room was small but well organised. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Very comfortable free parking. The hotel is very close to the white mountains.

The WiFi didn't work. This issue appears in more reviews of the property from other guests. The clerk pretended that he surprised, but I'm sure that he knows the problem.

Everything about this place is amazing, from the perfect location next to the Saco river to the freshly cooked breakfasts. The staff are all very polite and couldnt do enough for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds immaculate, cant wait to go back.

Our room has a view of Saco river. It was clean. The bathroom was just the right size for three adults. The bed sheets were super clean but the bed was too soft for me. I like my bed firmer. The breakfast was included; it was delicious! Hot water for tea and coffee were available 24/7. They also served fresh - baked cookies in the afternoon. We tried the food in the restaurant which was served in the barn. The barn burger was worth it. These are all the things I like at Merrill.

AC was a bit noisy but not intolerable. We're so used to the wall unit that the window unit sounds noisy compared to it.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I was a little surprised that I actually ordered from a menu, having expected to find a continental breakfast.

The room I was in faced the highway that passed by. There was some noise from traffic (trucks specifically) going by.
