Beautiful room, with a killer view, at a great price.

I know they thought those Sleep Number beds were a good idea, but all they did was convince me never to buy one. No matter the setting, it is still a glorified air mattress. VERY uncomfortable, and I slept horribly. Also, this is something I wish all hotels would read: You all put in 4 pillows, so make two the thick ones you normally put in, but make the other two thinner, maybe even 3"-4" memory foam pillows, for example. Not everyone likes those super-thick pillows

This hotel is spotlessly clean in a beautiful location! We could sit on the porch and watch the river which was beautiful! The staff could not have been any nicer, they were all friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and the bedding lovely!

The only additions I would make is to have a microwave in the room, there is a nice size fridge but with no food options a microwave would be helpful. Also, they have sleep number beds which we just couldn’t get the hang of…. We were like Goldilocks too soft or too hard but perhaps if we had stayed longer we would have figured it out. Overall a wonderful stay!

The location is superb - right on the Connecticut River and just downstream from the bridge to Brattleboro, VT. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely laid out, and easily accommodated three adults. The balcony was our favorite place though. It was enormous, and afforded great views of the water. Because the hotel was tucked away off Route 9 and away from the Interstate (91), it was quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

It would be great to have a cafe with breakfast on the premises, though there is Green Mountain coffee available, and many restaurants nearby.

The room was large, clean and very aesthetic and comfortable. Great bed, nice pillows and nice towels.

Plastic cups, paper cups all wrapped in plastic 😩 At the price we are paying for this standard of accommodation in USA we would at least expect glassware, including wine glasses and crockery as in cups or mugs and some plates and also some basic cutlery. An electric jug for boiling water would be good too. Really this throw away plastic stuff is outrageous.

The view of the river from my room was gorgeous. The room and bathroom were enormous, elegant, and super clean - clearly newly renovated. There were lovely hardwood floors and windows that open for fresh air and friendly, helpful staff. There is a quiet hum of traffic in the distance with the window open but nothing that bothered me. The location is near the center of Brattleboro, but feels like it’s out in the country. There are kind and helpful signs around, with offers to provide toiletries a guest might have forgotten. I didn’t want to leave! Perfection, really!!!!

I would have been glad for real milk (rather than creamer) for my morning coffee provided downstairs and I hope that the hotel will embrace sustainability practices soon, like using refillable shampoo dispensers and not wrapping the clean towels in plastic.

The most clean hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m so picky about cleanliness and this hotel is above and beyond spotless. So very clean. Location is so easy to access. Pretty views of the river and bridge. Other reviewers complained about the Sleep Number bed but I loved it! Was fun to try and I got a great night’s sleep! Front desk attendant is the sweetest woman.

Something Small: Sofa bed a little uncomfortable, but it was usable. I understand that it needs to be able to fold up. Maybe a quick and easy implementation suggestion is to implement a foam piece that can be added to a fold out mattress. Either way, I see myself visiting again in the future.

In booking the Riverside Hotel I wasn't expecting that my spacious and very handsome room would actually have such a beautiful view of the Connecticut River! I wish I had booked more than one night.

I have virtually nothing to critique about the hotel--it was a very fortunate choice among many in the Brattleboro, VT area.

A bright airy hotel with lovely views of the river. Comfortable rooms. Quiet. Friendly staff. We were given a list of places to eat but be aware - quite a lot were closed on Mondays & Tuesdays - & definitely need to book for some of them.

The main - & probably only downside - was that there was no food served. It would have been infinitely better if breakfast had been available - even if was a cold buffet - “continental” style! Having said that, we did know in advance no food would be served but hadn’t realised what a disadvantage that would be!

The room was very elegant and nicely decorated. We had a room with a balcony on the second floor and the view of the river was fantastic. The lobby and grounds were impressive.

We would have preferred it if there was a room with the balcony with two beds instead of one bed and one sofa couch. Although the view and location on the river was amazing you did have to drive everywhere.
