my stay was excellent! The room was and smelled clean, not even a hint of smoking which is great, quiet, bathroom was well equipped with enough towels and toilet paper, the bed linen smelled clean and bed was so comfortable, complimentary breakfast was great, staff was friendly and professional, and it just felt like a little oasis in the middle of hell! lol I visited the area for work/school and the area is nothing desirable, but that hotel made me feel safe and comfortable. Thank you sooo much!

the area is horrible, but i think the whole city is, i had never been there, and i think i will NEVER come back, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, on the contrary, that hotel is s gem in the middle of this place.

The breakfast is available until 10 AM and one us could just go grab it for the rest if the kids were still sleeping. This was the 3rd Hotel we stayed in during our vacations in the US and was the cleanest as the rooms were cleaned EVERYDAY! All hotels in NYC were so expensive but Newark is not very far, with a train station just 16 mn walk from the hotel. They also have South American restaurants nearby which have similar cuisine to West African ones. We took the kids to parks or shopping centers in Newark for the days we didn't want to go to NYC.

They had breakfast daily, clean….. everyone I encountered was very polite and friendly. Even though I didn’t use it I thought it was cool that it was lotion, shampoo and conditioner in a large container for us to use. Oh and when they cleaned up our room, they folded my kids personal blankets we brought with us. That was really nice 😊 the location was near a lot of places to eat.

I didn’t like that you had to pay for parking?! Why? I think WiFi too, I can’t remember. And the housekeeper on the first morning there just walked in without knocking. And they don’t really change up the breakfast options from day to day, so after 4 nights there, it got boring 🥱 otherwise the stay was good. Oh and it was only one washer and dryer for the whole building…. I waited a longggg time to wash. Beds were uncomfortable….. especially that pull out bed

The night and morning front desk associates were very rude. They DO NOT acknowledge customers while they are waiting and they DO NOT say hello when you make it to the counter. They are the first and the last people that customers see, so they should be taught to make customers feel good about staying in this hotel. It is the bookings and stays of the paying customers that keeps this hotel running. Treating customers in a good manner goes a long way and the front desk associates were very rude as I watched them help others and then help me.

Newark is considerably cheaper than NY, next to train so easy commute in. Beds are super comfortable....3rd time here. Each time the beds have been awesome.

Room does not have a safe. As someone traveling with passports, this makes me uncomfortable. I didn't want to carry them in New York on New Years Eve, didn't want to leave in the car. Was forced to leave in the room.

The most comfortable bed I ever slept in at a hotel. It was clean housekeeping does a good job! All the employees were pleasant as well each time whenever I needed help or had a question.

I didn’t like that the breakfast meat wasn’t labeled if it was pork or Turkey. Other than that it was good and kept clean and tidy as guests ate. Housekeeping stays on top of everything!

Clean and very neat! Friendly, courteous and very polite personnel at all times. Building is not new but the renovations that they have done are very practical. No safe that was a bad side, although the cleanness and lighting on the rooms were surprisingly good! We left Happy.

The staff was very attentive. When I first checked in I had a slight issue with my room however the staff was on it and was very accommodating. The staff made ns feel very comfortable. Which is very important to me . I want to thank the staff for a great stay at this location

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I only notice one small stain which was most likely over looked but didn’t really matter. The exercise room was small but had just enough to maintain my simple fitness routine.

The breakfast was not so good. The small selection of fresh fruit was the highlight.

Location had on site parking for 11 dollars a night, is good price and good parking. Had breakfast which was pretty good compared to other hotels. Room was clean and spacious.

Only thing I didn’t like was that for some reason it was hot in room even with the ac on.
