Very friendly and efficient staff. Since we arrived at the hotel early, the front desk attendant promptly offered us an early check-in. The housekeeper on our floor (a Colombian lady) was also very cheerful, courteous, and kind, asking if we needed anything—extra bedding, soap, etc. The location is great, very central, and the hotel is close to Newark Penn Station. It also offers an efficient shuttle service to and from Newark Airport

The hotel could offer a complimentary breakfast, even if it's a simple one.

it was a very nice and convenient property. good deal for price. liked the stores and restaurant in hotel and the room. I also liked that there was parking at the hotel but kind of think that the parking shouldn’t cost extra. there was some confusion about whether I got double charged for the room and the security deposit but I’m still looking into that. the hotel was also right next to a venue where we saw a show which was nice.

All of the staff were friendly & polite. There were plenty of tv channels to choose from it was well stocked with towels and tissue paper.

There was long strands of hair on my bed sheet when I pulled the covers down for bed. There were no cups in the room to drink water with. I didn't like the idea of having to go all the way downstairs to the lobby to make a hot cup of coffee. I really could have used one in the morning.

Staff were so welcoming, informative and very accommodating. I was running late due to travel issues, and they were flexible and understanding to let my friends who arrived early enter our room with just a phone call to explain. Also, the shuttle was a great convenience and much appreciated.

The Staff was fantastic, extremely personal and friendly and accommodating. Fucia and her husband and their little store were great, very friendly and everything you need.

The restaurant was beautiful but WORST hotel food we have ever experienced. Such a shame, everything high rating but food was HORRIBLE. They need a new chef. If there was a rating for food of 1-10 we would have given a “negative” number. Food, looked old leftovers warmed up. Truly disappointing in the midst of a great stay. I would stay here again but avoid the restaurant.

We stayed there because we went to event at Prudential Center, and the location was so close to it.

The hotel provided nothing, even the bottle of water :(

The hotel is rich in history. Albert Einstein has stayed here before as well as four sitting Presidents. There is a wonderful restaurant on site. Whole Foods is across the street. The atmosphere inside is very calming. Uber was consistently within 4 minutes of the hotel.

The elevator was very slow. We had to ask for a refrigerator and coffee pot. They brought them promptly when we asked about them not being in the room as described. The fridge they brought was already cold so there wasn't any downtime there.

Location was convenient to the train station. The room was serviced by room service daily, which was nice and unexpected. Hotel was lovely and well decorated. The lobby store was well stocked.

The room needed some minor maintenance: the toilet tissue holder was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and there weren't any phone charger outlets in the room. Also, our room keys stopped working every day and we had to go to the front desk to get them reactivated.

Really nice room with very comfortable beds. Staff was very nice and helpful to accommodate my needs after a very bad flight, so thanks for them! The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport every half hour. The hotel is at a walking distance to Newark Penn Station, which was very good.

My room happened to be located next to the elevator, which caused lots of noise from the elevator shaft everytime the elevator next to my room is going up or down. The room also did not have cups, kettle, and other basic kitchen necessities.
