We were a little skeptical when we arrived, given the area of town. We were going to give the hotel a try and check out our room before we freaked out. We were pleasantly surprised that it was nice and clean inside, the room was comfortable and clean also, so we decided to stay there for the 2 nights we were in town. We travel frequently to ABQ, so given the price and cleanliness of the property, we will be staying here again.

The location is kind of sketchy, but we didn't have any issues with parking our car and didn't see any homeless around the hotel. The breakfast was kind of meh, as you would expect a free continental breakfast to be. It was good to get coffee and a quick bite before heading out but don't expect a full-blown breakfast!

I've recently stayed at more Quality Inn's and I really like everything they've done to update their hotels and this one was no different. I was surprised this place didn't have more people staying since it's in a great location and the hotel seems to be recently remodeled, and well done at that. Beds were comfortable, I love their pillows and comforters. A/C - heater worked fine, TV channels were clear and lots to choose from. Management was responsive to concerns I brought forward. Also, dog friendly (with fees). Speaking of dog friendly, the property isn't the best to walk dogs but there is gravel all around. However, if you want to get a hike in or walk your dog in nature, turn right on Copper when you leave the hotel and go up the road about 2 miles. That'll take you to a dead-end against the mountain where there's running/hiking/biking trails. Beware in the warm months though, this is prime area for snakes and other creatures. And everything was clean clean clean! :)

This isn't a 'bad' thing, but it's something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper. The room I stayed in on the bottom floor was not carpeted, nor was the hallway. This is fine, and I have no issue with that. But acoustically, this makes any slight noise in the hallway easily reverberate into your room. If you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend requesting a room that's not on the ground floor.

The bed was good, and I couldn't hear much from neighbors it was very quiet.

The neighborhood is terrible but you're tucked away enough it's almost not noticeable

Average accommodations. We chose a modestly priced room for a one night stop on our way home from our vacation The bed linens were very nice. Towels were very nice. Convenient ice machine with good ice.

We were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor even tho there were very few customers that Saturday night. (Only 4 cars in the parking lot when we checked in at 7 pm.) The air conditioning had not been on prior to our arrival and the room was uncomfortable for several hours. The vent fan in the bathroom was noisy and it ran all the time when the light was on. The mattress was the least comfortable of the five rooms we stayed in during our nine-night trip. There was significant staining on the carpet. Understanding that this was a lower priced room so compromised some features.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was convenient for us, and the room was quiet. The air conditioning worked well. We appreciated having a fridge in the room. I can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t eat at the hotel.

The light switch for the toilet/shower area was outside that room so it was virtually impossible to use the toilet in the middle of the night without waking others up. The fan is super loud and automatically goes on when the light turns on. The other reason I didn’t give my rating a 10 is because the prices shot up due to the balloon festival. I was travelling to visit family and didn’t even attend the festival, but still had to pay the higher rates.

My stay was okay for an overnight stay. Decent breakfast.

Front staff could be more friendly.

What I liked what the three queen beds with one bed having it’s own room with a door. Convenient when you have a toddler. I loved the pillows very comfortable for my neck. This hotel actually had a comforter that kept you warm and cool which I love.

I didn’t love the breakfast and I wish they would come and clean up a bit and throw the trash. For a family of 4 the trash got full quickly and we had to throw it ourselves. If we needed anything we had to go to the front desk to get it. The front desk person were rude and had us to to the front desk if we needed anything. There was homeless and junkies outside the property, didn’t feel so safe.

Clean & pleasant staff

Helpful staff fixed our TV and helped us check in a bit early, as we'd arrived much earlier than planned. It was hot outside, and we were having a hard time trying to find a place to keep cool with our dog. Pet friendly. Close to the interstate. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Great air conditioning kept it cool in the room. Breakfast was offered, but we left early to hit the road, so can't vouch for that.

There is only one chair in the room, and no table, so we just sat on the bed. The bathroom floor still had some globs of hair from someone prior that hadn't been swept/mopped up. The bathroom was intended for handicapped accessible with a zero-entry shower lip, which is fine... except that even though being careful inside the shower, the curtain didn't contain the shower water, and it pooled out and ran out onto the bathroom floor. Had to use one of our two bath towels to mop it up, as the bath mat wasn't enough to sop it up. Kind of a rough part of town, and there appeared to be quite a few drug users nearby, including out in the parking area near the entry door. Probably not the greatest place if you're traveling with kids and don't want them exposed to that.

Clean and nice breakfast. The staff were friendly but we had to call them on a phone.
