My room was very clean and smelled good. Everything was spotless. I loved the quality of the pillows and sheets. I had a very nice chair to sit in with a footrest. I had a mini fridge and coffee was provided. There was a luggage holder. Everything looked great and was very very well done and I would stay there again.

The shower door kept sliding open while I was showering. The remote’s battery cover kept falling off. But the worst was a porch light that shone into the room at night thru a long thin window by the door. I need to sleep in pure darkness and it was very difficult to sleep with so much light.

To be honest, when I pulled up to the property, I was a little concerned about what it would be like. When we got inside, I was more than pleased with the room. They have completely updated the rooms and they are very well done. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. We had seen before we booked that people commented on not being able to get TV service at all. It was still the case when we came. That was the only thing I would say they need to fix. That’s way too long to not offer TV to people. They did offer us a discount because of the TV, but just be aware if you want TV that you would want to double check if they have it. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The room was a great value and the staff were awesome. We will definitely consider this place for future visits to Taos.

There were two things that we didn't like and they are both pretty small. The first was the fact that the light switch for the bathroom was outside of the bathroom and the middle of the night bathroom trip meant turning the light on to bedroom. The second was an easier fix. The bathroom door would stick closed and needed a shoulder to open it. Like I said these were minor and definitely not a reason to not go back.

From the outside, it looks like a 50's motel. But the inside has been renovated and updated very nicely. We were arriving just after their office closed, so they called us and did the check-in over the phone and made the whole process easy. We only stayed the night, but I would stay there longer if needed.

We were coming from the north, and Google maps took us through a lot of very dark back roads that wound around. Who knows why? I would recommend checking your route before just trusting Google to get you there!

Our room was very lovely. The room was clean and looked very aesthetically appealing. The beds were comfy to and the blanket was warm and comfortable. The wifi worked well to we brought our roku from home and it connected and played with no issues. My fiancée really enjoyed the coffee station. The shower was very nice we brought our own shampoo and conditioner and body wash which they do provide but we prefer to bring our own. The toilet was clean no stains or anything.

Honestly the parking lot could be more spacious for people with trucks. And the lock on our door didn’t work to well and it didn’t lock from the inside people on the outside could open our door if we didn’t have the dead lock secured.

It is really nicely renovated, and a good value in a very expensive town.

The parking lot is crowded, and I made the mistake of forgetting my toothbrush when I checked out – one of those expensive electric toothbrushes. I am certain I left it there, but it fell into a blackhole and the property insists they don't have it. What can I say? I followed up very shortly after I checked out. It's my mistake that I left it, but I got absolutely no meaningful help.

I admit that when we pulled into the parking lot, we were all a little concerned that Taos Motor Lodge had misrepresented itself on the website. Thankfully, we were wrong. We got to visit with an adorable dog in the office while waiting to check in. He was soaking up the attention. What a lovely, quaint place they have here. The moment you step through the door to your room, you'll be happy you booked here. The rooms are updated with nice, modern furnishings. There were five of us, and my brother almost felt like he had his own room out front because the living room with the pull out couch was separated from the bedroom by a half wall. The bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries. I ended up purchasing the mug that was in our room because I liked it so much. Our bed was comfy and the room quiet. Plus we were close to many restaurants. My brother appreciated that he could grab a cup of coffee in the office in the morning. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

If there's any way to serve some kind of food for travelers in a hurry in the morning, it would be appreciated. Even just doughnuts or muffins or something. Also, it would be helpful to ensure that you have the same number of towels and washcloths as you do guests for each room. We didn't have enough washcloths and went to get some from the office the night we arrived but were told that we'd have to come back in the morning because they were in the washing machine and the office closes at night I guess.

Rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. We had 2 queen beds (very comfortable), a small table with 2 chairs, and even a lovely leather couch. The room was truly supplied with everything we could need. Bathroom was spotless, with a huge glass door on the shower. The view of the mountains out the windows was gorgeous. We cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience here! Very quiet and restful.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was large and recently remodeled so it was really nice.

No fridge in the room, not enough lighting in the room, no water pressure in the shower. It was difficult to rinse the soap off. No remote for the TV and the front desk didn’t know where it was. We ended up watching programs on our iPad. Ice machine didn’t work so we had to get ice blocks from the front desk.

Clean, nice remodel with a modern shower set up. Good coffee. The staff did well on a Christmas day.

The address given was vary hard to find. MapQuest could not find it. Google had the area but also could not navigate to it. Bing maps similar issue. We were able to identify and navigate to nearby businesses. Then we found it. The location is on a major road so this should not be an issue, but is. Management needs to fix this. The major motel chains are on top of this. The Apple TV set up was buggy.
