clean rooms, nice facilities UPDATE after posting review: Management of the hotel contacted me about the issue with the front desk person, they informed me she was new and they were working to address her behavior. Additionally, the hotel is working on changing the towels out and said they were a bit overdue but that is happening soon. Given the response from the hotel, I would stay here again.

rude front desk lady at check-in, smoke detector missing, old and tattered towels that were rough *person who was rude will be getting additional training from management and towels are being replaced soon.

The location was good . The continental breakfast was great .. the employees all were nice enough ..

I made these reservations back in March for two rooms with two beds in each room, accommodating 4 people .. we get there, and we are given rooms far apart, not together .. I now know that when you book rooms, call at the same time and make sure that the two rooms are joined or at least on the same hallway .. but they both were on the bottom floor .. so that was good .. also, it just happened that a person ended up not coming, which was at the last minute.. hotel was not aware and still gave a one bed accommodation.. we took it cause it did work out .. other than the room being apart and one room having one bed that goodness someone e canceled, these two things my only complaint.. we still had an awesome time ..

Good location, friendly staff, clean and inviting. Liked that coffee and tea was available at times other than during breakfast.

The breakfast selections were not restocked toward the last 30-45 minutes of the breakfast. Many options were no longer available such as milk, cereal and pastries. The price of the hotel was high for the size of the room and amenities.

The front desk clerk was rude and in a bad mood. He didn’t say 1 word to me when I walked in. I handed him my reservation and he didn’t say one word throughout the booking process until we ran into a problem with booking.com so he spoke very little

The breakfast was very legit. The location was good for access to both Angel Fire and Sipapu. Near some yummy restaurants. I especially recommend the bar across the street for live music. The room was nice and comfortable. Lots of premium channels on the TV.

The hot tub wasn't working. They said it was temporary. It was disappointing, though, since that was one of the main reasons I chose this place. Also, a missing light bulb when we arrived. A minor oversight, but hopefully not a trend.

Breakfast could have had a little more flavor - pool and hot tub out of service for two days out of our stay - laundry service was out of service (this was a major draw for booking our week long stay)

Great location. The bathtub was a little worn and the shower head needs replacing. The breakfast was pretty good but not quite fresh. Usually, I love Hampton Inn's but was a little disappointed as it wasn't inexpensive to book.

The front desk reception was wonderful. The rooms were large and clean. The pool was nice and warm. The residents of Taos were very welcoming. The hotel was very close to San Francisco de Asis where we attended Easter Sunday Mass.

Interestingly, Taos celebrated Easter with many businesses and restaurants closed for the day. The hotel provided sack breakfasts instead of the usual warm buffet. This day for the local families was a nice reminder of my past.

Great location on outskirts of town. Staff was very friendly and polite.

Parts of hotel and room were worn out and you could hear everything going on in the hallway. They were redoing part of their parking lot so that was kind of inconvenient.

The quiet location, great rooms, helpful and pleasant staff, and the swimming pool was a nice escape. Like the water stands and especially the code bar.

Soda machine was out of a favorite drink....
