Vernon, our host, was awesome! He had every thing ready and communication was superb. He even had a bottle of wine chilling as a welcome gift on our arrival! He is a wealth of knowledge about the area so I would call before ordering lift tickets, rentals, etc...he knows some money saving tips and lots of fun things to do in the area. The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable and only a 20-25min drive to Angel Fire Ski Area. Parking is free and easy at the mountain, so driving in to ski was not a big deal to us. It's a beautiful place and great for a large family or group of friends to have fun and relax after a long day of mountain sports.

My only recommendation would be more kitchen ware. I'm a cook so I'm used to a large assortment of cookware, but we made it work just fine.

Shady Brook inn was in an amazing location on the mountain. The view was beautiful! The suite was big enough to fit the whole family of 15 and the price didn't break the budget. Mr. Vernon and his wife were great hosts . Mr Vernon met us at the suite the night we came in so he could give us a tour and tell us a little about what's around to do. Every time we called for something, they were more than gracious and helped us out.

Sheets and blankets could have been cleaner.

This was our family’s second stay here and will be our go to for staying in the area. We loved the accommodations and Vernon makes you feel like a you are such a special guest staying. Great location to enjoy so many different things but nestled just out of town with some beautiful scenery.

Loved the property manager, Vernon, and the condo itself was spacious and fitted with everything our family needed right down to the detergent and Christmas tree.

We had no issues with anything.

Vernon was far beyond accommodating. He made sure he communicated every detail of our stay even prior to our arrival. On the day of our arrival he even waited for us outside the hotel and had a welcome signage made just for us. Also, since my friend was celebrating his birthday he had a wine and a cake prepared for him. The facility was more of an air bnb type than a hotel one which was good for us. We got everything in our place from kitchen utensils to washing machine and dryer.

Vernon was the best. Before we booked, he gave us a detailed description of the property, plus sent us a package outlining local attractions. And he had a birthday cake for my granddaughter. Nice job.

Vern and his family went out of their way to accommodate us at the last minute. Our Airbnb canceled on us right before we were supposed to get there which was very late at night. When we booked with Vern he called to verify our stay and make sure everything was ok. We are a wildland firefighting crew and we had to move hotels every 2 days due to a lack of room availability with other fire crews in the area. We were so grateful that Vern not only took our reservation in the middle of the night but he even offered to let us extend our stay longer than the reservation if we needed it, which we did in the end. He was literally our savior in all this. The rooms and hospitality are beyond expectation. If you have the chance to stay here don't miss the opportunity!

We loved everything about this property! Staff was amazing and accommodated us for all our needs. It was very clean and plenty of space for extra guests. I love that we got a tour and gave us all the info for other things to do other than to ski!

the property was amazing it had some stunning views and it was located perfectly in between Taos and Angel Fire.

if anything I would say some upgrades are needed with beds and sofas.
