The location was excellent, along with the convenience of the coffee shop. The coffee bar's staff was super courteous and professional. The food and coffee were amazing. Overall, the room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The fridge and microwave were super nice and clean too. In addition, the housekeeping staff was very attentive and helpful.

Some sidewalks were dirty and the trash cans were not emptied out as frequently as they should have been, and therefore, some trash cans were overflowing. Also, it would have been nice to have at least two wastebins in the room instead of just one.

Spacious, clean, very comfortable. The staff was absolutely outstanding. Nick was very engaging and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The young man that came to our room to help us understand the remotes for the TV was also very engaging. The staff is top notch. They are doing renovations at this time so there were a few things that could be improved upon but a totally lovely place to stay.

No grab bars or shower mats in the shower. We are older and don't have great balance so that is important to us. The desk chair was cool looking but totally uncomfortable. I didn't like the curved TV and we had to get someone to come to the room to show us how to use the 2 different remotes. Might be a good idea to put instructions in the room or give them when you check in.

Friendly and welcoming staff! We were upgraded and even given a gift basket of goodies to eat and drink! A rarity in today’s stays! The coffee shop on premises was wonderful and had a great staff too! Perfect to chill out in or grab and go about your day!

Hard to disappointed when you’ve got a clean room, accommodating staff, and a killer coffee shop with great grab and go breakfast!

Nice room, comfy beds, clean and comfortable.

The television would not connect to services so no tv for my entire stay. I twice requested a service technician but no one ever came. Another customer also experienced this. I was compensated for this in the way of a pet fee pass. Why are the sink drains always slow draining here? Also, could use a good mopping.

Convenient location, clean newly remodeled room with comfortable beds

The outdoor gather area wasn’t shaded as pictured & the pool wasn’t functioning. Both were reasons for choosing this property so quite disappointed. It’s obvious the management has a renovation plan & so far it’s beautiful but they should make guests aware BEFORE they arrive

The location is perfect. Very close to downtown and also to any other kinds of shops or restaurants that you might choose! I have mobility issues so it is very convenient to have a first floor room and be able to drive right up to it. The rooms themselves are beautiful, simply decorated and with very comfortable beds.

The bathrooms are a little bit small. Fortunately, so am I

Limited staff availability; had to wait for staff at reception desk (Staff was friendly). We were on second floor and no elevator and quite a distance from stairs. Individuals with disabilities should request first floor room.

I loved the Taos Valley Lodge! I booked a Standard room and Jelena gave me a complimentary upgrade to their newly remodeled Deluxe Room, and it was just perfect! The room was clean, the beds comfortable and it had a big TV streaming Netflix so I could watch my favorite show. Next morning I went to The Espresso Bar, adjacent to the lobby and it was beautiful. They have just started their Fall Drinks- Pumpkin Latte here I come! The Baristas were super friendly as well! Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely be staying here!!

Staff here was super friendly and welcoming. The lobby was being renovated during my visit but it didn’t affect my stay by any means.. I booked a standard but upgraded to newly renovated Deluxe rooms, and I DID NOT regret it! Fresh, clean, modern design. Comfortable. Extra points for the air purifier and the USB outlets next to the bed. I tried the Espresso Bar on site too, and it’s definitely my new favorite coffee shop in town! The Churro Latte was delicious! Will be back

The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. While this is a motel on Taos's main road, the property is pretty nice and is within a short drive or a long-ish walk to stores and restaurants. The bed is very comfortable.

I was happy with our stay, but potential customers need to know this is not a romantic getaway in a charming spot. Taos has places like this, but this is a motel on the main drag. The room was nice and the staff were fine and you get your money's worth, but it's not a charming escape type of place.
