The hotel was quite a bit better then I had expected after reading the comments. The staff at the receiption were friendly and helpful, The room very decentwith a view towards Manhattan. the location too is fine, just off a friendly part of Brooklyns 5th Avenue, where shops and some friendly bars are located (I dont know very much in Brooklyn) From the Subway 5th Av/36St its an easy 7 minute walk

The room is clean and the housekeeper works hard. There are bus stop outside the hotel （MTA bus M15 + M35 the cheapest way from JKF Airport to hotel just $2.9）and the Metro R 36th St just 10 minutes walk. The hotel is located at a residential area so many groceries and shops still open at night. A good scenery overlook Manhattan from the room and the terrace. 我不明白為何過往甚多惡評，個人覺得價錢超值。

The rooms were exceptionally clean. Language was a problem with some of the staff. Bed was comfortable. Metro was six minutes away from the hotel on a busy route and express trains. Grocery stores and restaurants were just across the street

Need to be flexible with the Checking out time. Charged per hour from time I was meant to check out. Other hotels give an allowance of + - 2 hrs before they start charging.

Reasonable price, just needed a base to sleep. Reasnoble location 10 minute walk to metro station with both local cal and express trains to the city.

Don't expect any extras it was a comfortable basic hotel.

Very cheap stay for New York, great views of the city from the hotel and a metro station that goes straight to the city nearby. It's a great place if your aim is to just sleep

no snack machines in the hotel on any floor there’s some snacks and canned drinks you can buy from the front desk but that’s it I mean that’s cool but there’s not much to choose from

I was really happy with the service of the staff for letting me check in early and allowing me to free up time to get ready for a Business meeting that afternoon. The room was comfortable and clean and I had a decent view from my room.

The location is close to many things, but everything kind of closes early

Very clean. Room was attended to daily. Staff went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Conveniently located Market, Restaurants, Subway station within walking distance etc.

TV didn't work, but we didn't miss it anyway because there were plenty other things to do. No time to watch TV.

Everything was great. Staff were so sweet. Parking was a little rough but they do have underground parking and that's a tight squeeze. But overall it's great. It's sad that people rent there and asked not to smoke in the rooms and they do. The staff is nothing but nice and people are disrespectful.

Other people smoking weed inside the hotel and loud music at 5am. But the staff asked them to stop

Wonderfully cheery staff, they accommodated an extension of stay with no problems and let me keep the same room. Decent showers and room service was cool with my "don't clean" request. Would certainly stay again
