Room, hotel, staff very clean amazing!

The parking garage, multiple people’s car were busted into the night of our stay in the Adam garage, great facility not a great area thou!

Beautiful area in a beautiful building. Having no parking and having to walk 2 blocks from the parking garage in 6 degree weather was no enjoyable.

The lady at the front desk accused me of not being 21 after seeing my ID and told us we couldn’t stay because i wasn’t 21. When i am. and she just looked at my sideways ID. I didn’t like being accused of not being of age when you should know what the date of 21 is. I’m in the restaraunt and bar industry and it’s almost the exact same. You should know the date of not being able to serve someone who isn’t 21. It was embarrassing and made me feel awkward.

The room was HUGE! The towels were so soft, kudos to the laundry team. The building is old and the features were beautifully retained. Coffee shop right there in the same building which is handy.

There were mosaic tiles for the shower floor, some were missing. On first impressions of the reception area I was disappointed, as there was an empty restaurant/bar area which looked in disarray. The remainder of the hotel was beautiful. Bit of a walk to the harbour area, but doable. The reception staff didn't wear a uniform, which I thought was a bit strange, although this had no effect on their professionalism.

We have attended weddings and events at the hotel before but never stayed. There have definitely been some changes since the new ownership but the hotel has kept its vintage charm. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The location was perfect for an event we had at Key Bank center. It was an easy walk to and from the venue (20 minutes max). The coffee shop in the lobby (Public) is great.

It’s too bad the restaurant is closed. The hotel seems darker than I remember in the past. Some of the furniture in the room could’ve been cleaner.

Easy walking to alot of architectural buildings, resturants & cocktail bars,breweries,hotel is historic & appreciate that you have saved that,loved all the wall hangings that explain about the architects & it's history. Convenient coffee shop which don't think belongs to hotel but opens into hotel lobby.

No hotel parking of it's own but an easy straight shot 1 block down from hotel. (Did have to pay)

We booked a suite at the hotel, and asked on booking.com for room 209, unfortunately, it doesn’t appear our request made it through… So the first night we stayed in a very small, almost claustrophobic like suite. However, after talking with the front desk, the next day, they moved us to another room with an outside window, and was much better and much larger, So thanks to them for that.

The beds… We find the only complaint we typically have the whole time we stay at the Lafayette, of which we stayed numerous times, is that the beds are too soft… Makes it very hard to sleep.

The property was very nice the staff was excellent and it was a convenient location for walking distance to several of the places we were visiting.

We were under the impression that there was a bar and restaurant associated with the hotel we had plans on meeting several other couples at the bar before dinner and we were all going to meet up for breakfast in the morning so this was disappointing and we had to change our plans. I was up early and couldn’t even get a coffee.

Great location and loved the cafe at the ground floor. Spacious rooms and staffs were very attentive. Thank you for giving a comfortable stay.

Internet was not that good in one of the rooms I was initially in. But when requested they moved me to another available room which had better internet.

The staff on reception were so lovely and helpful. They stored our bags for us and were very good with local recommendations. We were also upgraded to very lovely spacious rooms.

Lack of facilities - we had arrived early from an overnight train journey and the hotel had no breakfast on offer. We ended up eating at another hotel locally.

Great location. Super close to the bus station where you can catch a bus to Niagara Falls. Same for the bus stop where the bus to the airport depart from. Spacious, comfortable room. Hotel is a bit...vintage. But it's clean and serves its purpose.

Personnel could smile a little bit more ;)
