This was our first visit to this property and we were quite impressed with everything. Every member of the staff we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend a rom w/balcony - the views re beautiful! The bedding is just what we needed after a long day and we slept like babies. Decided to have a leisurely breakfast and the room service was excellent. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations - the bacon was delicious, the eggs and toast very good, and the blueberry muffin was bakery quality. Served on time by a very pleasant young man and our day was off to a very good start!! The live music with appetizers and drinks made for a pleasant evening. Would definitely return to this hotel but for a longer stay to enjoy the wonderful amenities and the nearby attractions. As an added note, would recommend taking the Chataqua Belle Steamboat tour - it was a nice way to see the entire beautiful lake while listening to the fantastic guide relate so much fascinating historical information. Loved it!

A beautiful property right on the lake. Close proximity to the Chautauqua Institution. Our room was comfortably cool in spite of a brutal heat wave.

Things fell apart at breakfast. The host seated us and then completely forgot about us. We were there at least 20 minutes before we saw someone to flag down. By the way there was only one other table with guests on the other side of the restaurant. Other than the fresh fruit our food was inedible. My cinnamon toast was beyond soggy. I held it up and it was like a wet dish rag, literally dripping butter. The meat in my husband’s omelette was extremely greasy and so were the home fries. He had to leave his meal uneaten. Because it was so long before we were waited on or served we were late to our lecture in Chautauqua. I would have liked to give the hotel 5 stars but the breakfast literally left a bad taste in our mouths.

The breakfast was good. The service was horrible. The waitress completely ignored me. The bar was nice. I really enjoyed sitting outside at the fireplace. The room was gorgeous. I loved the walk-in shower. altogether the entire place was absolutely just gorgeous. The staff was very nice at check-in. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or the hot tub any of them. I would definitely rebook here again.

The only negative part was I couldn’t use the balcony which I made sure to get. It was covered in bird poop. Birds were constantly out there. They might be living there.

The room was clean as could be. The view of the harbor and the hotel grounds are beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful The front desk was always there to greet and assist you in any way. Housekeeping was great. Even room service was quick as could be expected and they brought up everything you could need and the food was hot. The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there several times and the food was always delicious. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

The hotel was beautiful and clean! The room was spacious yet cozy. The outdoor patio area had a wonderful view of the lake and the fire pits created a spectacular ambiance. They had free coffee (Starbucks) and tea each morning and gave chocolates each night at turn down. They even had courtesy robes for use during our stay. I especially loved the added touch of free fruited water and cider upon arrival. There was both an indoor and outdoor pool, an exercise room and an outdoor putting green. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway! (The hotel was close to a lot of great restaurants and breweries too. We loved breakfast at The Coffee Cup and lunch at The Art of Flavors. Wicked Warren’s brewery was cool also! We loved the short drive to The National Audubon Society location. Great peaceful place to explore.)

It was very convenient to have a restaurant on site; however the prices were quite high. We ate lunch there and the food was good but hesitated to return for dinner because of the elevated pricing. (The homemade chips were amazing though.) We wished we had booked a room with a balcony instead of a patio. The space was nice but the view was of the parking lot. I’m guessing the lake view rooms might book up earlier. We would definitely go back and try getting one of those rooms next time. The pillows weren’t the best. There was a huge variety but none that were comfortable for us. Not a huge deal. Bed itself was super comfy though. We loved this hotel! Not much we’d change. Such an amazing stay!

The location was very nice - located along the lakeshore.

The kitchen was having some difficulties during the time we were there...maybe they had new staff or maybe they weren't adequately staffed, but on our first night there it took 45 minutes to get our food. Once it arrived it was excellent. My wife and I had to laugh about the shower controls....I'm 5'6'' and was unable to reach the shower flow control...it was at least 8" above my each!!! They must have a race of giants in Jamestown NY!! :)

We attended a wedding on-site and decided to stay here. The location was absolutely beautiful, the reception area was elegant, and the food was delightful. And the fresh, hot coffee each morning was a very nice touch! The front desk, restaurant, and bar staff were professional, courteous, and attentive. My kids loved the indoor pool and delicious breakfasts. The hotel appeared to be clean and in good condition.

Very minor disappointment, but the housekeeping staff was not as attentive as we'd hoped.

The hotel is “Ritz” quality. Incredible location, spotless, beautiful rooms. There is something missing that didn’t get me excited about it. The staff was adequate. They did their jobs but lacked “customer service personalities.” The exception was David the Restaurant Manager. David was extremely personable, anxious to assist us and very knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area. He really stood out amongst other employees.

There is no coffee or tea to be found after 11am. No machines in room or lobby. Quite disappointing for a $$$ hotel. I can have a tea whenever I like at a Hampton Inn for $150 a night but not at this hotel.

Breakfast was ok. My husband loved his. I had a plain bagel with butter. The bagel was loaded with butter. Rather have butter on the side.

Dinner. Very select menu and I didn't find much to my liking. I decided on a Ceaser Salad with Chicken. the ceaser dressing was not to my liking. The chicken was terrible. Frozen, heated and tasteless. My husband did enjoy his seafood scampi except for the scallops. They were very bland.

Very nice beautiful hotel. Many amenities-outdoor/indoor pool,bar/restaurant,restaurant,firepits. Starbucks coffee on every floor in morning,cleaned rooms daily with 3 night stay& turn down service.Restaurants & other attractions not far. Loved Comedy Center & Lucy & Dezi museum.

First 2 mornings we didn't have coffee on our floor. Thought was told all floors would have it. Stayed week after Memorial Day,outdoor bar not open till few weeks later on weekdays & Chautauqua Belle boat didn't run on weekdays till later also.
