I love that it was nice and warm in the room. The room has a cozy appeal. Looked exactly like pictured This was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in. The staff was super friendly and showed me the tv, and complimentary coffee area. They had little bathroom cups in the bathroom and lots of soap.

I was in the shower and it suddenly got cold and then was all over the place. My phone didn't charge while I slept, because I had the switch off and didn't realize the bottom plug was controlled by the switch. I could hear the couple next to us fighting at 2am. (This is not the hotels fault)

JR!The man even turned on the tv for us. Fed us dinner,drinks . What other place opens the kitchen for you?We have never experienced someone like JR🙂The room even had K cups to get you started. JR is there to help you find plenty to do in the area. Brochures,he’s got you covered. Want to use the fire pit ,yep it’s available. Real towels. Felt like a visit to grandmas house. Heck,he even filled our cooler. Actually walked the ice over to our room and filled it🤣

Great location if you are going to Sheffield or the surrounding area. JR, the owner, had a nice recommendation of a place for dinner on Thursday and went out of his way to be sure we had a great stay. We came for the Johnny Appleseed Festival and appreciated that we could find a place to stay so close. The refrigerator was much larger than in most chain hotels and the Keurig machine in the room made it easy for us to enjoy hot coffee after a day in the rain.

If you are expecting the Hampton Inn, this is not the place for you. But if you want a clean, safe place to stay in this area for a very reasonable price, take a look at Rest Stop 6. Yes, there is some road noise, but the bed was so comfortable that we didn't notice it.

The room was quiet and very comfortable Plenty of hot water. Air conditioning was cold. The bed and pillows were amazingly soft, it was wonderful to fall asleep and rest after a long day of visiting the mountains. JR is a great host and keeps everything updated and sparkley clean. The perennial garden is beautiful!! JR also makes sure there are plenty of options for the Keurig and your morning brew.

The owner was very pleasant and when I lost an irreplaceable personal item in the parking lot, he found it and made it a point to make sure it was returned to me. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, linens were clean and when we needed additional towels they were supplied to us.

The only negative point is that our stay was only for four nights and wasn’t longer.

We will definitely go back! JR was friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. The room was well equipped with everything we needed, and JR even gave us blankets for our dogs. The location was perfect, and we were able to visit parks and forests, go hiking, and take scenic drives. The place is modest, but absolutely spotless clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved sitting outside on the patio in the morning and evening,. Great value, and it was like a vacation from our youth.

This was a great little spot in a great location as well! The owner was extremely knowledgable and friendly!! He gave us many wonderful suggestions about the area and activities in the area as well. The property and rooms were humble but very clean and stocked very nicely with coffee, mugs and essentials. The mini fridge in the room was also very useful!

The room we stayed in was quite small for three of us and two dogs. There was really nothing we didn't like! The property is a bit older so if you're picky about "new, sparkly, shiny" this is not your spot.

This place was in an excellent location, the room was clean and comfortable and the owner extremely nice.

It would be nice to be able to communicate with management more often face to face. The only option was to use text messaging and we didn't have that option.

The staff was kind and the room was clean. Everything met our expectations and everything that we needed for the stay. We were happy with the overall experience.

The room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. It is exactly what you would expect from a good accomodation in a national park. The price was fair. The host has been extremely helpful and kind, even though we arrived quite late at night and provided us with very good information on the area.

Nothing. I only suggest to follow the procedure the host suggests for the check in. If you plan on arriving late, make sure your phone number is correct and your phone has good reception, as the place is located in a forest and you might need to contact the host for the check-in.
