Very homey, yet with plenty of privacy as well. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, without being intrusive. We were only in town for a short stay, but it was great accommodation and we plan to return. Breakfast was lovely, and the homemade muffins were the best we have had in a very long time. Host also made recommendations for the area that were well received without being pushy. It is clear she loves the area and wants to welcome travelers to their slice of paradise, and we look forward to a return. We also didn't play a game of chess on their board by the fireplace, so we really have no choice but to come back.

N/A. The floors squeaked when we came in after a wedding (late) and we tried to not disturb other guests. But it's an older house and that's to be expected.

We had stayed here prior to the pandemic and enjoyed the lodge’s proximity to everything the area has to offer, the privacy of our room, the history showcased on the property, the reasonable pricing, the delicious breakfast and our lovely hosts. Returning after the space was renovated was a real treat. They had modern upgrades while maintaining the history, the room was exceptionally comfortable and there was a full functioning kitchen to cook in. We sat outside last night drinking wine in rockers on the covered porch and watching the deer grazing right in front of us.

This lodge is well laid out inside and the decor is perfect. The rooms are clean, updated, and well thought out. Best of all, the lodge manager, Carrie was amazing! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and made a delicious breakfast. She was very accommodating, thoughtful, and makes the best cheesy eggs!

Enjoyed our stay, Had very good breakfast.. Quiet for a B & B. Room was pleasant.

Location had lots of stairs, (expected in an older B & B), but still challenging for older guests.

George and Laurie made sure that we had everything we needed. Nick and Hannah were available when we had a slight problem with the brand new shower. Breakfast was ready early every morning and delicious! We brought firewood in Keene for $5 and made a fire in the pit by the river. Would definitely stay again.

Only thing missing was a tv. Wifi was spotty at times but that was true in most of the area.

This beautiful classic Adirondack home is an ideal spot for hikers and non-hiking sightseers. Breakfast offered a side variety of fresh baked goods, fruit, oatmeal and more. Rooms are cozy, freshly renovated, and beautifully appointed. Overall great vibe.

The breakfast were awesome, home made muffins were great, the location is perfect, close to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. the staff were very friendly and always there to chat with in the mornings, The lodge itself was just remodeled to include all new materesses, very comfortable. would highly recommend. we are taking about going back in the fall.

This absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast is beautifully furnished. Quiet and comfortable rooms exceed your expectations. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was fantastic and the owner and staff are incredibly kind! I can not wait to go back!

There really was not anything to dislike, it maybe could use some air conditioning or window fans but it was quite comfortable and there was a ceiling fan in our room!
