Had a great stay here as a solo traveller with a medium sized dog. Very spacious rooms, great bathroom facilities. Camp fire at night with s'mores is a lovely touch. Coffee available to take out in the morning. Great pool and sauna on site, very clean and well maintained. Great location, an easy walk into the town (15-20mins)- bikes are available. Very very pet friendly which was important for me. We utilised the private field next to the river multiple times a day, in which I was able to let my dog off leash, throwing the ball and a swim in the river... That was a real bonus! Staff were always friendly and inviting. Had a fabulous stay.

Not many flaws to be honest. Maybe a microwave in the room would be useful but not a necessity at all.

nice design. Quality beds and bedding. Cleanliness. Bon fire and outdoor sauna. Being quiet at night.

No fans in the bathroom. Kind of ridiculous in bathrooms of overall good quality because the pine doors are not closing properly expanding from the humidity build up and because all odours have nowhere to go except the room! Also, the bathroom door has matte glass which is actually partly translucent so privacy is questionable especially considering that the door is directly across the toilet! Sauna needs to have a shower next to it. Otherwise, sweaty guests have to either walk up to their room or plunge into the pool, neither of which is a great idea... Need to add darkening curtains. Semi-translucent designer linen curtains don't block the sun which affects quality of sleep.

It was really nice weekends at Eastwind. We stayed at Superior Lushna which is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the nature at any time as we had a large glass door with breathtaking view. The Lushna also has hot water in the sink and shower (every 15 minutes it should be recovered which takes about 30-45 minutes as receptionist informed us during check in) . The hitting and air conditioning work properly, there were a refrigerator and kettle that had a little burnt residue at the bottom but receptionist friendly offered us a thermos with hot water and eventually replaced the kettle. Also we gave sauna a shot and that was nice experience, it's not big but it has enough space for two people. During winter time they don't do barbecue but we asked them for grill before arrival and they prepared it for us! Perfect place for couples and companies to have fun and chill. All the amenities and the cafes are nearby. We used to visit High Falls Gorge, it's wonderful place in the winter. Highly recommended!

I just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you for the fantastic stay at your hotel! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and cozy accommodations made me feel right at home. I really appreciated all the thoughtful details and communication that added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and I truly felt taken care of the entire time. Thanks again for such a lovely experience! I can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Just a little suggestion - add the fridge to the room description.

This is a very laid back and boho hotel set on a quiet property very close to town. It's actually a compound of various buildings with different accommodations in each building. There is a European vibe and the bedding and soaps provided are natural. There is a mini split for air and baseboard heat. There are various amenities such as a sauna, small pool, nightly campfire, free coffee (excellent), and bicycles.

The rooms could use more space for clothing and hooks for coats or towels/ robes in the bathroom. The bathroom shower is large and open, but there's no fan to clear the steam. And there's no heat/air in the bathroom unless the door is open.

For both my partner and I, we would rate our stay a 10/10. Patrick was so nice and we loved the sauna, fire pit and the complimentary s'mores, we thought that was so sweet. Our room was SO quaint/modern as well, the bed was incredibly comfortable, it exceeded our expectations actually! It was a lot more spacious and the design was just so nice. We loved the location and Lisa G's as well! Its in the most convenient area in our opinion. Sincerely, thank you so much for the amazing stay 💓

Literally nothing, it was perfect.

Very unique lodgings. We stayed in a Lushna Suite and despite the huge floor to ceiling window, there was privacy. Layout of the suite was comfortably designed. Rainfall showerhead was lovely. Heated floors was a nice touch. Bikes were available to use free or charge, but the uphill ascent into town is a bit of a challenge. No designated bike lanes in town so you have to manage the narrow roads with cars. limited bike parking besides the entry of the mains trip with the main public parking lot. Also available, but we didn't use: communal fire pits, BBQ grill, hammocks, swimming pool (closed for season), sauna. Felt very safe despite he openness of the property

The view from our porch could've been enjoyed much more had the brush out front been cleared (it was well over 6' high so we couldn't see much). No coffee on site until 8am, nor instant coffee available in the rooms (tea packets were available). We left for our hike at 6am and nothing around was open until later. Bikes are not in great condition, a bit rusty too. My partner's chain came undone just up the hill and we had to walk back (he's bike savvy too, so it wasn't a quick fix). There was a clear line of sight into our shower (above the frosted pane) from the house next door.

Location worked out well for my trip. This "hotel" is actually a complex of 4-5 houses on a single lot which have been divided into individual rooms. Very nice; I hadn't realized I'd booked a "double queen" until I checked in and I enjoyed the extra space. Good bathroom and shower, and lots of nice books to read on the shelves. The attached deck out back looked great but it was a bit too chilly to use this trip. They have a nightly fire in the fire pit if you're feeling sociable.

A bit of a walk to the closest restaurants, but not terrible. No restaurant on-site, but you can pre-order a "breakfast basket" though I didn't try it. Gravel parking lot a bit treacherous on a motorcycle.

EASTWIND - can only write in superlatives about that place! Welcoming, very approachable hosts, superb teas (Art of Tea) and cosmetics (Zenology), very comfortable beds, specious bright room in Scandinavian decor style, amazing window view! Also it was a perfect location, close to the dog park (we travelled with our dog), few minutes away from the Adirondack Rail Trail, walkable to restaurants and cafes.

There is nothing we dislike about the EASTWIND, perhaps one or two shelves above the fridge would be useful.

The staff was kind and accommodating and kind. There were many little extras like complimentary s'mores kits, individual fireplaces at each Lushna, and live music on Saturday night that made our stay feel special. I also loved having a breakfast basket delivered to our door one morning.

The pool was freezing and needed a good skim, but not so much that it deterred us from getting in. There was no housekeeping during our stay (2 nights) which was not a huge deal for us, but could be for others. We truly enjoyed our stay, and these were minor items that we were not really inconvenienced by at all.
