Location was good. About 30 minutes into Downtown Manhattan by taxi. We aren't fans of public transport so knew prior to staying that taxi would be our form of transport so that was fine. Reception staff were happy to call us a cab every day. The rooms were absolutely fantastic. Toiletries were supplied so no need to bring your own. Beds were really comfy, had very good cable television, a fridge and microwave for convenience and a coffee maker. There was free breakfast available also but we did not avail of it.

The price we were quoted on Booking.com did not match the price paid on arrival. We had to pay $400 more than the quoted price. This was refunded by booking.com after the stay but something to be aware of. Hotel is completely cashless which was inconvenient for us as we operate mainly in cash. The shower in the room was broken. We were offered to move room but we didn't avail of this as we had already unpacked and we made do with using the bath.

The hotel was clean and provided though limited but hot and cold breakfast options which for me is essential to get going. Good public transport options to get around. 12 o'clock check out. Internet connection was reliable. Staff was helpful.

Location. It is about 5 stops from Manhattan by metro and a bit of a walk. For us it took about 9 minutes. However there's a bus stop right next to the hotel if you don't want to walk, so the location is not really a problem considering the lower cost of staying at the hotel. Breakfast is repeating, pretty much every day the same, but us not being fussy, we survived 10 days!

Room was great and really modern and clean. Bed was surprisingly comfortable and great after a day out. Views from our room were amazing. (812) Bathroom was exceptional. The shower was fantastic and added bonus of Dove toiletries! Hairdryer actually worked well. Especially liked the fridge and microwave in the room. Came in very handy when we came away with doggy bags from eating out. Breakfast was okay if you like bread pastries and sausages but was plentiful. WIFI worked well. Couldn't fault anything really. Would definitely recommend.

More light in the room. It was too dim. Nice hotel but in the middle of nowhere? 15 minute walk to the subway which was okay in the morning but hard going after a 12 hour day sight seeing. Purchased 7 day travel pass to keep the cost down.

We liked staying at this hotel. The only downside it had was that the floor was a little sticky but nothing crazy. The room is big enough. I celebrated my birthday and they updated our room to a room with a view, which was sweet of them, but I cannot say paying for the view would be worth it. The area is industrial, nothing to do but we would only come to the room to sleep. The closest metro is a 12-15 min walk away from the hotel. The area might not seem safe at first but it is, indeed! We also had breakfast almost every day, and it was ok.

We stayed at the hotel from December 21 to 23 , and it was fantastic The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with everything you could need , shampoo , conditioner , blow dryer .. The heating was perfect for the cold weather. We opted for a room with a city view they gave us the 18th floor, and the skyline was absolutely breathtaking! The staff were super nice and accommodating, allowing us a late check-in and holding our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the city before leaving. The front desk team was very helpful. The breakfast was decent nothing fancy but good for the price. As for the location, while it’s not central, we found it manageable. The metro station is a 15-minute walk, which we didn’t mind during the day. At night, we used Uber from the station to the hotel for just $9, which worked perfectly for us. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. If you’re okay with the location, the great service, stunning views, and comfortable rooms make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

The hotel and its staff were great. The hotel is relatively new. The staff was very professional and helpful However, the hotel is a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station. And, the area that you have to walk through to get to the hotel is not great, especially at night. I called a taxi service about 10 minutes before I got off of the subway. I was told that they would have a car available to pick me up in 30 or 40 minutes, which was too long for 10:30 pm with the temperature around 15 degrees. Otherwise, the hotel is great with a spacious room & bathroom. There was also a fridge in the room. Breakfast was included in my room rate and breakfast was great and plentiful: potatoes, bacon, toast, egg/cheese omelet, cereal, couple of juices, mini muffins, cinnamon rolls, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, etc).

It was nice and clean, friendly staff and very helpful! I’d like to thank Jairo one of the staff members who helped me to get my refund in a very efficient and easy way!

What I didn’t like was the noise at night I think it was from the subway rails. Also breakfast service wasn’t very good. I had to wait long time periods to get scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes “not only one day” pancake maker oven wasn’t performing good I had to wait and wait until someone would come and fix it.

Being ripped off. Booking.com told me the price was $435 inclusive of taxes. However the hotel had charged taxes on top of this again bring the price to $506 which has been charge to my card.....I've just check the website again if to rebook and the price in definitely inclusive of all city taxes in the price.....not an extra....please can you refund the difference. I have request this multiple times since last Tuesday, but neither Holiday inn or Booking.com has made contact ... Disgusting behaviour.

Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Views of Manhattan and Queens were stunning at night (even from the 8th floor). Proximity to the 7 subway line was useful and the beds were incredibly comfortable!

Some fittings in the bathrooms were a little loose but it’s an easy fix but everything was functional and easy to use. Breakfast items were nice but a little limited and the location wasn’t the best, however it was a new building in a new area so who knows what it’ll look like in 5 or so years!

I absolutely love breakfast.

The front desk staff was quite unfriendly, especially the Indian guy. They usually didn’t greet us. The floor was very sticky when we arrived, and I asked to have it cleaned, but no one did until the next day. The parking fee was also very expensive, which was a bit misleading because I thought it was free.
