The hotel recently re-opened after renovation. The room was nice--no frills--but nice and clean. The breakfast was good. I would stay again, especially for the price we paid compared to other local hotels. The location near Cooperstown was great.

We arrived at 2:25 pm when check-in was scheduled at 3 pm. The parking lot was empty, and very few people were staying there. They were going to make us wait until 3 pm to allow us into our room and then told us they should charge us extra since we arrived before 2:30 pm. I have never had that happen before. They didn't charge us, but I was taken aback by this suggestion, especially since the hotel was quite empty.

Room was spacious and I had an upgrade through Booking.com. The room was clean and comfortable, however the lighting is a definite problem.

When we arrived, one of the lightbulbs by the bed was out. We called down for a replacement and the person at the desk had no idea how to get one and wanted us to wait until morning (we waited until morning for the light that was burnt out in the bathroom). She finally called someone and was able to provide a bulb, but it seemed to be a real strain for her. That being said, even with the new lightbulb, the room was still underlit, making reading difficult. Finally, another hotel that decided to keep their covid protocols and not make up the room unless it was specifically requested. Room prices never came down, but the decrease in services stayed.

The breakfast was fine, the location was great and the staff was courteous and professional.

The carpeting in the elevator was badly stained and the carpeting in the 3rd floor hallway also had numerous large stains. My wife and I will never book here again because of this. I complained of this at checkout to the manager. He was well aware of this problem and assured me that new carpeting will be installed before Thanksgiving.

Breakfast was very good. Simple continental style with waffle maker.

It seemed like housekeeping didn't do a complete job as we checked in. Shampoo bottle was completely empty, which I didn't realize until I was showing half way through. The lady at the front desk was very nice and brought a brand new full bottle to our room immediately so I was able to finish showing. It wasn't a huge deal for us but I could've done without it after a long day.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We slept well due to the quiet atmosphere and the pillows - we'll probably buy some! Being outside of town made it easy for parking, but it does mean you have to get into town for decent restaurants. It's not a far drive, however.

The breakfast coffee out of the machine was subpar. We ended up looking for coffee elsewhere. It's a little hard to see the entrance sign at night. Maybe this is a regulatory issue, but it would help to have something easier to see.

The location was perfect! Plenty of parking, close to all the great restaurants and breweries!

The only thing I would recommend is better lighting for turning into the hotel parking lot. The sign for the hotel is a couple of hundred feet from the entrance and there isn't clear signage to enter. We almost missed the entrance!

Location is just a couple miles south of town. Breakfast was good. Cable TV had a large number of channels. We had a nice rural view from our window.

The entrance to the hotel is a bit steep and tricky, especially if arriving after dark. Coffee in the breakfast room is not the greatest.

The staff was superb. Very friendly, helpful in finding a nice restaurant, took time to explain anything we needed to know.

The bathroom shower was not very good. Very little pressure and hot water. The shower curtain wouldn't stay shut so got water on the floor. The drive into the hotel was difficult. Quite steep, and curves. When driving out at night, a car almost hit us because there was so little space around the curve. Might want to think about another way to get in.

I liked the staff. Kemar at the front desk was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. The young man working the breakfast area was also super helpful. The housekeeper’s were diligent. Breakfast was good. If you include real cooked oatmeal, add another waffle maker and another toaster it will be great.

My only issue was what I mentioned about breakfast.

The facilities were clean and the staff exceptional. The room was notated as handicap accessible (we didn't need that, but nonetheless, that's how it was designated), but the room door was hard to open and the tub too high for someone who WAS handicapped to be able to use.
