Location was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with a late check out request. But the real star of our stay was the breakfast - really outstanding variety, well stocked, and some of the best cooked/tasting I've had in the middle tier, US chain hotel continental breakfasts category (probably 50 hotel stays in the past 10 years). Bacon was cooked well and crisp, there was an assemble-your-own strawberry shortcake with yummy biscuits, and they even had peaches with cottage cheese available in waiting to ask the standard offerings - the hash browns were actually browned and not soggy, the coffee tasted good on it's own, and the pastry selection included mini Belgian waffles that were delicious. Whoever plans the breakfast spread deserves credit, and the cooks really know and care about their food and it shows. The two breakfast staffers I talked with were delightful and very helpful as I needed to take our food back up to the room.

Room had an unusual smell, but we did need a dog friendly room so that likely contributed. HVAC fan made a high pitched whine when it turned on so we just kept it off which made the room stuffy and probably didn't help with the smell.

Clean room. The breakfast staff were very friendly. The location is great. Checking in and out was easy.

The overall appearance of the hotel is worn down and very dark. Except for the breakfast staff, the rest were not welcoming, compared to the Holiday Inn Express, which were unfortunately fully booked. The ventilation in the elevators was very poor. It smelled like dirty feet. The breakfast was marginally satisfying.

My room was clean and I slept well. My mom room had the river view and it was so beautiful 😍 The guy who check us in and the lady who checked is out was amazing and very friendly. I would definitely come back. We'll be back on the 26th and I definitely was the river view room this time

My mom didn't eat breakfast because the breakfast lady was very rude to her and my son,it was our first time at the hotel so she didn't realize the breakfast time however they was still food in the breakfast area and when they went to get some the lady was like "you can't read breakfast is finished and they can't take anything not even tea but food was still out. That was very horrible and disrespectful because that's not how u speak to people,I'm not sure if because she was putting stuff away even if that was the case she should still allow them to eat what was there. I want to the pool at BW and the staff there was amazing they even let me have breakfast there and our hotel breakfast lady was not that nice.

Location of hotel was beautiful even though we wanted water view that we did not get. Breakfast was very good and the hotel bar that overlooks the water was awesome

The mattress was awful! If it was a comfortable mattress definitely would have been a lot better. Also my husband and I picked this hotel because we wanted a water view as this was a special trip we made to spread our sons ashes that day. The kid said they are all taken. Not sure how If check in was at 3 and we got there at like 3:05 and I requested this the night before and they said we will put it in the notes.

Breakfast was pretty good. Standard range of foods for hotels. Environment was clean with nice views. Steamers in the lobby has good beer and perch to eat.

Could hear wind whipping all the time from my room. Don't know if there's a loose seal or just a normal thing to hear.

Location was decent. It is right on the water, near their cute little downtown where there was a couple of shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean. The beds and pillows were so very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options!

I am a dog person and love all dogs. I also appreciate when hotels are pet friendly. I do NOT however enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night by a barking dog. I don't fault the dog or the hotel. The owner should have enough sense and common courtesy to remove and/or correct the dog.

Nice view of the river from our 5th floor rooms. Parking was easy and free. Close to eating options. Beds comfortable. Spacious rooms. Desk and armchair in rooms. Enough towels. Big vanity to put toiletries. Buffet breakfast has good choices.

Rooms could use an upgrade in decor, floors, curtains. Tub and toilet could be sanitized better.

It was clean and comfortable. There was a Resturant in the building that was good. AC worked very good. Friendly staff.

There was a barking dog in the next room. I would not have stayed there if I knew they allowed dogs. The internet was difficult at times.

Pet friendly, easy to walk to the center of town. The view was beautiful and staff was friendly.

There were no gluten free breakfast options beyond yogurt and a fruit. Having gluten free waffle mix available would be appreciated, or a gluten free cereal or bread.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable. Breakfast buffet was amazing, had so many options, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, omelet and even a make-your-own waffle station and many more. Great way to start the day!”
